Dr. Stein has been seeing my dog who has major digestive issues for some time now. Though I know there is no miracle solution for gut issues like these, Dr. Stein has spent thorough attention and care trying to stabilize her stomach, and she's in a much better place than she used to be. He's always up to date on my dog's history which is a huge relief compared to a place like Bond Vet where you have to re-explain what's wrong with your dog to a new doctor every time you come in. I've received thorough vet summaries and instructions over email and always can rely on their friendly front desk people to send over any forms/invoices asap. The environment is positive and calm, there's typically no more than one other dog in the waiting room which is great for my dog who's an aggro nervous wreck. And they have snacks!! 🙂

We've been taking our pup to Dr. Stein and the team at Greenpoint Veterinary Care for 3+ years now and feel extremely lucky to have found such a great vet. Everyone in the office is always kind and helpful. Dr. Stein himself is so thorough, patient and great at explaining everything. We've been able to email him to ask quick questions and he is always super responsive and honest about whether or not our concerns are with a trip in. I cannot recommend Dr. Stein and the entire team at Greenpoint Vet Care enough. My rescue dog struggles with extreme anxiety, and the team always showed patience, care, and prioritized his needs. They worked with me to find a medication routine that was a good fit and successfully manage his anxiety. This is the first vet office Finley has felt comfortable in! Appreciate their notices for routine vaccinations and appointment reminders. Fair prices.

We just returned to New York after a few years overseas, previously our dogs were seeing a different vet in Brooklyn because we were in Williamsburg, that vet was amazing husband and wife team and other vets there too (Northside Vets on Berry St). However, we need a vet closer to where we are now which is in the middle of Greenpoint. We charted upon Greenpoint Veterinary Care through an online search - And from the phone calls, including changing our appointment time to accommodate our senior dog walking with snow through our arrival with reception, the vet, Teck and Dr. Stein, we are blown away with the technical expertise, the warmth, the compassion and bedside manner with the patient. So blessed to have Dr. Stein looking after our dogs now.

I can’t say enough good things about Greenpoint Veterinary Care and Dr. Stein. I first met him years ago at a community event hosted by JoJo’s Pet Club in my building; and from that moment, I knew he was the kind of vet who truly sees both animals and their humans. Dr. Stein has been caring for my dog, Arlo, ever since, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else. He’s calm, kind, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly patient... the kind of vet who genuinely listens, never rushes, and somehow remembers every detail about your pet’s quirks and habits. When Arlo was carrying a little extra weight (aren’t we all sometimes?), Dr. Stein gently suggested a slightly leaner diet. There was never a hint of judgment, only compassion and practical advice that worked. He’s consistently guided us with such care and clarity, from routine visits to pre-travel health checks, and every experience has been exceptional. The entire team at Greenpoint Veterinary Care is warm, professional, and genuinely loves what they do. The clinic is clean, open and feels welcoming, and you can tell they treat every animal like family. This was my cats first visit with a vet. I was able to make an appointment easily online. When I arrived it was not a long wait. I was very satisfied on the whole. When I had questions post visit about a possible heath issue, I emailed and they were responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Stein is always so patient and puts any/all concerns at ease with a great attention to detail and general warmth.
