I brought my foster puppy in for a same-day walk-in visit and had a great experience. It was my first time at this facility, and I was seen quickly. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Quisha was especially gentle, caring, and sweet with my puppy, which I really appreciated. You can tell she truly cares about the animals she works with. Overall, it was a very positive first visit and I’m grateful for the great care my foster puppy received.

I am beyond grateful for Bond Vet Cobble Hill and especially Dr. Erin Mackey. I originally brought my cat Sophie in because she had blood in her stool and what we thought was a simple issue turned into something much more serious. Sophie was pregnant and after Dr. Mackey recommended an ultrasound and X ray she discovered a fractured pelvis that a previous vet completely missed. Dr. Mackey truly saved my cat’s life. Her attention to detail her urgency and her compassion made all the difference. The entire Cobble Hill staff was just as incredible. Everyone was kind patient and genuinely caring from start to finish. You can feel how much they truly love animals 🐾💙 Yes Bond Vet is a little bit on the pricier side compared to others, but it is absolutely worth every dollar. I have gone back to Bond Vet Cobble Hill and I will continue to go back no matter what. Also I highly recommend pet insurance. I have Spot Pet Insurance and it helped me so much. If you are looking for a vet who truly listens and goes above and beyond this is the place. Dr. Mackey is the best and I will forever be thankful to Bond Vet for saving my girl 🥹✨

Recently relocated and needed to establish care with a vet in the area as my dog has chronic allergy issues. The office was clean and our visit was okay. However, the prices are quite steep. I tend to stick to more local vets but I had a great experience at my last vet which was bought out by a chain. so i wanted to give a chain/corporate location here a chance. Dr. Kaufman was very thorough and kind which i appreciated. She took time to offer education and go over everything in detail. The staff were fine and professional, but the prices send the message that they care more about quantity vs. quality which is more of a corporate issue than theirs. I think Dr. Kaufman would be better off with her own practice than working for this company. Otherwise the clinic was clean and well kept. $130 exam fee is kind of ridiculous compared to anything i’ve ever paid before. i’ve never paid more than $110 for cytopoint at any vet ever before and they quoted me for $140 here. I declined half of the things they quoted me for. I would expect to spend anywhere from $300-400 each visit at minimum. Unfortunately, will be finding a more local vet or shop around for more reasonable pricing.

Perhaps because I am not white, I experienced strange and unsettling behavior when I took my dog there for the first time on March 4, 2026. I was not greeted upon arrival, and I did not learn the names of anyone who assisted me. I initially had a promotional code for first-time visitors, but because I arrived about 30 minutes late, I was told it could no longer be applied. I was late because Cory called approximately 30 minutes before my appointment, and the call lasted an additional 15–20 minutes. I assumed the code might still be honored given the circumstances, but it was not. Both Cory and the other front desk employee, a younger woman, were off-putting during the interaction, especially the woman. She frowned the entire time while checking me in and did not appear welcoming. Meanwhile, white customers received smiles and friendly interactions, including attention toward their dogs. This contrast made the environment feel unwelcoming, particularly as a Black person. I was already anxious because I was worried about my dog’s health. When we were taken to the exam room, the assistant, whose name I was also never given, appeared similarly displeased and did not greet me. I even mentioned that I was feeling uncomfortable. Instead of addressing my concern, she immediately asked whether I knew there would be a fee. When the doctor entered, he asked the same question. The interaction initially felt just as strange as the others. The only positive aspect of the visit was that he was friendly toward my dog, and my dog seemed to respond well to him. Overall, it is difficult to fully express how eerie the entire experience felt. I left feeling extremely uncomfortable, as though I had stepped into an environment where I was not welcome. The encounter was deeply unsettling and shocking to me. It is the first time I have personally experienced what felt like such blatant discrimination. It literally felt as if it was the 1800's in a "whites only" establishment. Needless to say, my dog and I will not be returning.

My review is general for the whole of Bond Vet, tagged to this location as this was our primary location for services. Overall, the care is mediocre and doesn't stack up to the cost. Across the 3 years my dog has been a patient, everything comes with a high price. We mostly stayed for the duration as the location was convenient and then my dog unexpectedly needed surgery and we didn't have time to hunt for another provider. The final straw was how the finances were handled for her surgery. I was excited to hear about Care Credit as an option for a standard surgery that the vet quoted me $7,000 for. To further assist with cost, the staff assured me that I'd have a 2-year interest free period with this option. After 6 months, I was charged interest on this credit and I immediately reached out both to the third party bank and Bond. After an initial call and follow-up with Bond, I waited ~3 months with no word and gave in, reaching out again to address the matter. This ultimately resulted in Bond not covering for their error and leaving me to absorb the $1,000 interest that has accumulated on the account, which is under my name so leaving me no choice but to pay. The bank noted that had the issue been addressed sooner, there would have been other options to recoup the accrued interest - to which the vet's response was, next time there's an issue, I should do a better job hounding and staying on top of the staff so resolution can be found quickly. Appalled and extremely upset about how this was handled is understatement, even the mere thought still has the power to ruin my day. On a personal level, there are sacrifices and hardships that come with taking on a $1,000 expense that wasn't expected and budgeted for. I am now holding the burden of figuring out what adjustments I need to make to ensure this doesn't snowball to an even larger burden for myself. My glass half full is my dog and I will be separating from the Bond Vet, which is long overdue. Hoping that there are options out there that are providing services at a level that cares for the community and mirrors what they are asking to be compensated.
