Crate & Barrel

This Crate & Barrel is great. Super clean, really organized, and the staff are actually nice. If you’re looking for furniture, they’ll spend time with you and help you find what works. Though it is expensive, for example, $30 for a small candle, it is still a great place to browse.

Outstanding experience ask for Ariel! From the moment we walked into the store, Ariel greeted us with the bubbliest, most welcoming personality. She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely understanding of what we were looking for while shopping for a couch. She took the time to listen, answered all of our questions without pressure, and made the entire process feel easy and enjoyable. You can tell immediately that she’s a true people person. warm, patient, and fantastic at what she does. Experiences like this are what make you want to come back. Promote her ASAP she’s an absolute asset to the store!

Absolutely horrendous company to deal with. Bad customer service and poor technology. I ordered something off a wedding registry. They sent it to a bad address(which they maintain and don’t disclose for privacy). Then fight me when I try to get resolved. As a food lover and cook, I buy a lot of kitchen stuff. Never from here!! Stay clear of this place!! Additional Notes: I did communicate with customer service FOR OVER ONE HOUR! No one is willing to help. This is a ISSUE on your end NOT MINE and yet I have to waste my time fighting with you to do the right thing. DISGUSTING!!

Anytime I've been to the Great and Bell this particular one in West Hartford I've always found anything I wanted and the cell staff has always been very friendly The first floor is a lot of tissues control the kitchen still pillows throw pillows and the second floor when you go up the escalator is more concentrated on furniture desk chairs tables etc it's a beautiful construction store very large and it's always a pleasure to go there

The customers service is very good! Nice place full of cute stuffs and very well located. The store has a good size and there is a lot of parking nearby.

We were excited to receive Crate & Barrel items from our wedding registry, but unfortunately, the quality and customer service left much to be desired. We had three separate quality issues—multiple towels that frayed, a pillowcase that split, and a large area rug that arrived with a significant stain. While Crate & Barrel refunded the cost of the towel and pillowcase, the rug has been a nightmare to deal with. It was installed under a king-sized platform bed, taking half a day to set up, and we don’t have a truck to return it. Despite explaining this multiple times, Crate & Barrel’s solution was to direct us to a "local concierge team" for return scheduling, completely ignoring the logistical challenges we laid out. We expected better quality and customer support from a brand at this price point. Unfortunately, our experience has been frustrating, and we wouldn’t recommend relying on Crate & Barrel for major home purchases.

Worst company ever. We ordered a sofa and a dining table. We were told that everything would be delivered by the end of January. On February 7, we decided to call Crate & Barrel to check the status of our order. During the call, the customer service representative said she could now schedule the delivery. When I asked what happened and why we didn’t receive any notification, she said the items had finished production that same day and now she could schedule the delivery. The delivery was scheduled two more weeks later. On the day of delivery, we received an email saying that our delivery was canceled. There was no reason given in the email, only a support phone number. We called the support number during working hours. They told us that someone would call us back within one hour. No one called. We had to call again after two hours. During the second call, support told us that our delivery had been canceled and that someone would call us within 24 hours to reschedule. After about five minutes of discussion, the support agent said that one of their trucks had broken down on the way to us, and that’s why the delivery was canceled. After asking a few more questions, at first the support representative said the company had only one delivery truck. Two minutes later, she said they have more trucks, but only the one assigned to our delivery had broken down. When I asked if the warehouse was open and whether someone could call us to schedule a new delivery, she said yes. However, when I asked to be connected directly to the warehouse, she put me on hold for 3–5 minutes and then said the warehouse was already closed and no one could take the call. She said someone would call us the next day. I do not recommend them at all.
