DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse

The shoe selection is solid and the workers seemed friendly enough. But you should be aware that the return policy is poor. I tried a pair of shoes on in the store, which seems perfectly allowed and normal, meaning others most likely did too, then took the shoes home and tried them on for my wife to see. After all this, it was decided that they weren't right, I brought them back to the store and was told that they had scuffing on them and they would not accept the return. I didn't wear them outside, I wore them on my carpeted and hardwood floors of my house for a total of 5 minutes maybe. So they'll sell you shoes, which may have scuffing on them from their floors, and I don't think they're checking that before they sell them to you. I most likely will not return to the store to purchase shoes for fear of not being able to return items.

Recently I took my 88 year old Mother to purchase shoes. We received fantastic customer care from the moment we walked through the door that they had propped open as my Mom requires a walker. We had prompt assistance finding the right shoes for my Mom. I went to get the car and when I pulled up in front of the door these amazing ladies had helped my Mom to the door. I really do appreciate this kindness and care from your outstanding employees date of service was Thursday, March 20 around 1pm! Highly recommend DSW!

I remember now why DSW stands for "discount shoe warehouse". Customer service extends just as far as telling you if they have your size or not. They don't suggest alternatives or tell you when something might be back in stock. Their loss...I would have spent much more if they had offered actual help. The only reason the review isn't one star is the store does have a decent range of brands.

Great selection if you wear a standard size and width. Absolutely nothing in stock for wide width. Everything I tried on hurt. I am older and my feet have spread and I can't wear heels. Had much better luck at other local shoe stores.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had an issue with a purchase at a DSW in a different state, and they were able to solve all of my issues. Would come back

The workers/management at this job are horrible. I went to return a pair of shoes I wore for one day because they were extremely uncomfortable. The lady told me they can’t take them back. Ok how am I supposed to know if they fit? She told me to wear them around the house. As someone who sells shoes for a living she should know that wearing shoes in the house is NOT the same as wearing them to work and on different pavements etc. so I took the shoes home cleaned them and then returned them and they gave me my money back. Needless to stay I will not shop here anymore if I’m unable to return a pair of shoes after wearing them for one day. Poor customer service just like all the other reviews mention.

Really good brand name shoes for 1/2 or 1/3 of the original price. Why did I not know about this place and come here sooner? If you are looking for shoes, this is the go-to place. My first time at this store and I bought 4 pairs of dress shoes today.
