Legacy Mountain Resort

It’s such a lovely resort! Everyone here is so welcoming and humble. The food is absolutely delicious, and the rooms are spotless and beautifully maintained. I remember noticing a staff member wearing a Mountain Top Cleaning and Maintenance t-shirt — he was so polite and quick to help. I accidentally spilled some coffee, and he cleaned it up immediately with a smile. The view from the resort is breathtaking — you can see the forest and enjoy an amazing sunset right from your room. Definitely a place worth staying if you’re visiting Sevierville!

Viewtopia. Views were great. Cabins was nice. Better bring your own garbage bags and grill. Complimentary bag had a roll of paper towels and a garbage. So you had 2 garbage bags. No gas for the outdoor fire pit.

Stayed at Above the Clouds, can say I'm disappointed due to a few things. Couldn't enjoy the hot tub because it was half full of water and dirty, a dirty towel just laying on the couch, and the tub had noticable dirty residue on there as well as a bottle lid on the tub.

I guess your experience depends on who owns the cabin. I’m surprised by the reviews as we’ve been here for 4 nights and it’s been absolutely amazing. I wanted somewhere with good views to celebrate my 40th birthday and this place did not disappoint. The views are breathtaking, I literally cried. The cabin was easy to get to, the roads were not as steep as some other cabins we’ve been to and they are wide and well maintained. Our cabin was clean, large, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Will definitely return again. For reference we rented through Elk Springs Resorts and were in unit #36

If you want your vacation ruined then book here. We get to our cabin last night and the "owner" is in it. Decides he ain’t leaving so we are left with nothing but a refund and try to figure out where to stay now. Absolutely horrible business. How do you not know who was occupying the cabin. DO NOT book here only thing they care about is taking your money. No manager on duty of the weekends. Scam business. No compensation or anything

Man, I can't believe I'm leaving this place a negative review. I used to absolutely love coming here. Still do, the location and view are amazing. But, the cabins are getting trashed, and nobody is fixing them. We have been coming here for 13 years, and the last 5 or so have really been disappointing. It's hit or miss whether the hot tub is going to work. Things are broken throughout the cabins, random damages just left for years. Dog friendly cabins are great, but not when the carpets smell like urine and aren't being regularly steam-cleaned. The housekeeping is a joke; more than likely your cabin is going to be filthy upon arrival - bring cleaning supplies. Most of the cabins are handled by property management companies who are completely out of touch. They don't understand the importance of customer experience, and seem to be conditioned to complaints. Complaints that don't get addressed. I hope the owners see this and take action - this resort used to be pristine. There hasn't been a response to a review in 3 years..

As I’m reading the reviews I realize I am lucky to have found a nice modern cabin at this resort. Ours was upgraded and well kept (dreamz peak cabin). Do your research before booking to avoid disappointment. We also went to the pool and it has a nice view.
