Tender Care Animal Hospital of Peoria

Tender Care staff are attentive, caring and knowledgeable. We would walk in and they knew us and our pup. It is a very caring and upbeat place for your pet. The veterinarian side and the daycare side are both excellent! We will always use Tender Care! Thank you for all the love and support you have shown our pets.

Prince went in for a Wellness checkup, Rabies Vaccine and other shots to keep him updated. The Vets and the Staff always takes so good care of Prince and his needs. They are so patient because sometimes it's needed for different kind of services. Prince will be able to Board again if needed also. Thankyou Tender Care for Caring for Prince.

Oliver is a rescue who was food deprived and his first owner made him lose a leg. I have had him for four years and he is an incredibly happy little tripod. He also has reactive behaviors/paw chewing. Everyone at TCAH was great with him. They did a Wonderful job of approaching him, providing him the care he needed, and we both walked out of there very happy. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet

At my puppy’s first appointment, the Tender Care staff went above and beyond and took such great care of her! The receptionists were so friendly, the vet tech was amazing and helped show me how to get her ears cleaned, and Dr. Larson spent so much time (at the end of what I’m sure was a long day) talking to me about how my puppy had been doing at home and giving me tips. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to walk me through first time dog ownership! You can tell that they truly care about their clients and the animals they help! I’m thankful to have found them!

I cannot say enough good things about not only this animal hospital, but Dr. Larson as well. There have been many times over the last 5 or so years that he has gone above and beyond for my family’s and friends pets. I’m not sure if he’d want me to tell everyone this, but he is an incredible man who has given out his personal phone number to many people and helps families outside of business hours. I feel he truly means it when he says call him anytime. He cares so deeply about his patients and it shows! I recommend him and Tender Care to everyone I know. We have liked the other vets we’ve seen at Tender Care as well. We also use Tender Care’s grooming and boarding services and have always had good experiences!

Both my 7 pound maltipoos go here and I cannot say enough good things about them. The receptionists are beyond kind and so friendly. All other staff and vets are amazing. My little one even had to stay during Christmas due to some tummy issues and surgeries. Keep in mind places close for the holidays. The vet literally called me at least once a day even on holiday. My appointment wait times is always good and never takes long to get in. 10 stars if they had them.

I had a great experience bringing my cats here. The vet and staff were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and handled my cat gently, which made a stressful visit much easier. I truly appreciate the care and compassion shown and would highly recommend this vet.
