Cathie is amazing. I started as a complete beginner, had never even touched a horse in my life. She puts an emphasis on horsemanship and ground work and has helped me build a really solid foundation. She is so knowledgeable and gives moment by moment feedback so that you can fix an issue immediately before it becomes a habit. The groundwork included with every lesson has helped me feel more confident in handling horses safely. If you are a complete beginner and you want to learn somewhere that will give you a well rounded approach to horseback riding, this is the place to go.

Kathy is wonderful! I have had my horse for 4 years, I bought her unbroke and we had a lot of handling issues at the start, it’s a a long story ao I will spare the details, anyway I needed some last few tricks in my pocket to get my horse to listen on the ground 100% of the time and Kathy successfully gave me those tools! She’s been fantastic since Kathy came out. Only once has she tried to blow by me- I corrected her and she realized it and fixed and we were on our way again. I highly recommend!!!

If I could give Cathie (10) stars, I would. I've had many horse trainers, Cathie by far is the best!! I had Cathie come out to my home because both of my horses refused to get on a trailer. Cathie made me realize it wasn't my horses with issues w/trailering but me. She was very patient w/me and did not leave until she felt confident I could get my horses on the trailer myself. Watching Cathie work with my horses was amazing. I wish Cathie lived closer to me because I would trailer to her more often for training and lessons. I have recommended Cathie to several of my horse friends. You will not be disappointed.

Cathie is amazing! She does it all and is so knowledge able. I learned so much in a little amount of time. I came as a beginner and I'd recommend her again and again! Great barn.

I cant say enough about Cathie Hatrick-Anderson! First of all I had totally lost my confidence with horses after a horse related injury and was about to give up when I found Cathie. We started with hours of ground work with her two horses to help me regain my confidence. Cathie is very calm and explains everything with patience. When I was ready I moved onto riding and slowly I am back to dealing with and riding my own horses with confidence and actually finding joy in riding again. This IS ALL because of Cathie and her great training. Cathie helped me find and choose my Quarter horse Lacey. Before I decided to buy her Cathie and I went to where she was boarded. She did ground work with her first (which was amazing to watch) and then she rode her, then finally I did. I've had Lacey for two years now and shes one of the best horses I've ever owned. Cathie helped me find my perfect match! If you're looking for a new horse take Cathie with you, she'll help find you a great match also! Can't thank you enough Cath!!!

Most impressive training I've ever experienced. Real results, very quickly. If you listen, and follow her advice you and your horse will become the best you can be. It's so effective..so quickly it's almost unreal. Don't waste your time with trainers who are all alike; if you want real results..try Cathie.

I work with horses on a daily basis...after a few sessions with Cathie I now know how much more I have to learn about basic horsemanship!
