Wildflower Stables

Wildflower Stables has given my daughter an incredible first experience with riding. She has learned so much and become a confident young rider. Her lessons are the highlight of each week for her! She loves everything about going to the barn, especially the beautiful, well-cared for horses that are so loved. The grounds are beautiful, with trails and ponds, and a great indoor riding area as well. The instructors are patient, kind, and wonderfully supportive, and my daughter feels so connected with the Wildflower community. We feel so lucky to have found this gem!

Wildflower is truly the best. You won’t find another lesson program in the area that is as welcoming and non judgmental as Wildflower Stables. For years I had struggled to find a barn like this for my son but kept encountering high pressure show barns or large facilities that didn’t really make me or him feel comfortable. Emily and her team go above and beyond to welcome every type of rider, no matter their experience or age. Great instruction and very sweet horses. We love it here!

Beautiful facility, caring staff, and sweet horses. Such a great barn to learn how to ride or just spend time with horses. Would definitely recommend!

At 46, I’m living proof it’s never too late to start horseback riding. I can’t imagine a more supportive environment in which to finally realize my childhood dreams than at Wildflower Stables. Emily, Lauren and Jenna are gifted instructors and their magnificent lesson horses are wonderfully patient teachers. Taking up riding has been the best decision I’ve ever made for my physical and spiritual health! As if that weren’t enough, these women have been the backbone of my daughter’s therapeutic and recreational riding instruction for the past five years. They are quintessential expert equestrians and some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Drawing on their vast experience as professional riders, equine managers, and therapeutic and recreational riding instructors, the team at Wildflower Stables are a tremendous resource. Their wonderful lesson horses are selectively chosen and given the best possible care. The facility itself is always clean, well equipped and maintained and the environment is always welcoming. We are so grateful for Wildflower Stables. Thank you!!

Can not recommend Wildflower Stables enough! This place is perfect. The horses are so well cared for and well loved. Everybody here is like one big family, always helping and supporting each other to the best of their ability. Lauren, Jenna, and Emily are 3 of the best instructors I have ever known. Any rider who rides with them will learn a ton about horses and riding and will grow as a person thanks to their skills and wonderful personality. Truly can not recommend enough. No matter your age or ability, you’ll find a second home here at Wildflower Stables.

Love Wildflower! The horses are well cared for and clearly very content. The facility is really impressive and very well maintained. Horses are turned out mostly in groups in very big paddocks with sheds. You can tell they are happy with their environment and their jobs by how relaxed they are in lessons. Cannot recommend more!

The amazing, hardworking women of Wildflower Stables are an incredible team and have created such a welcoming and positive place for riding lessons / horse lovers. It’s an easy-going barn offering an excellent riding foundation in an unpretentious, safe environment. These are experienced horsewomen that have followed their dreams and gladly show others how to follow theirs. They know firsthand that horses are magic. Two of the owners are new moms, and they started this business during the pandemic to give you an idea of their commitment and work ethic!! Horse wellbeing and rider safety are of utmost importance here. At other barns, this isn’t always the case! As a mom, I couldn’t ask for a better introduction to horsemanship for my enthusiastic, animal loving daughter. Some very accomplished horses in their herd, now in quieter jobs, gladly show riders the ropes and it’s a joy to witness. While we landed at Wildflower by following my daughter’s riding instructor, the experience absolutely inspired ME to get back in the saddle after a long time! Now the two of us are having a blast riding together and are ready to do even more. Our family is grateful for Wildflower’s inspiration, fabulous role modeling, and the sweetest ponies ever.
