Beautiful facility. Well cared for horses. But management could not have made me and my son more uncomfortable. We left mid lesson. So openly rude and condescending to both of us: It was like watching the light go out in my child’s eyes. I’ve been privileged to take classes around the world. I have never left a lesson before in my life. Will never be back.

The absolute best! Sue is remarkable with the children. One of my sons used to be so shy and would never speak much in front of groups. After a year of horseback riding with Sue as his instructor he has thrived and is a different kid. She helped him gain confidence and has taught him so much about the horses. I highly recommend signing your kids up for lessons. Her barns are gorgeous and spotless with beautiful views.

Treated myself to a wonderful trail ride at High Meadows Farm with Sue and her faithful hard working little dog pickles today. I've been to other riding barns and have worked at riding stables, I really like the way Sue runs her rides. She made everyone feel very relaxed as we prepared for our ride, taking time to groom, tack and start out in the arena so that you get to bond a little with your horse, and making sure horses and riders are ready to go out. The trails are nice and wide and the horses were very well behaved. Will be going back again. Thank You Sue and Pickles for a great experience.

Responsive, well organized, and lessons are led by a great instructor. Beautiful scenery and trails to hike nearby as well. 10/10 recommend

I have to be honest I really liked the barn, horses, and the owner. However when you coming for a trail ride experience you want to spend as much time in the saddle out in the woods as possible. We were told that the entire experience will take approximately 2 hours- and it did. We started with the tour around the facility and introduction to the horses, the we groomed the horses, tackle them, and spen some time in arena learning how to maneuver our horses. That took about 1.5 hours. We spent 30 min in the woods with the guide WALKING on her foot in front of us! 5 more min in arena. Then un-tackled the horse, clean them up and we are done. This might be a good intro to equestrian class, but definitely not a trail ride.

The owner is friendly and kind. We were there for my daughter's friends birthday party. The kids had a blast and we even learned a few things about horses. I would definitely like to take my children back there some time.

Received a gift certificate for Christmas for a trail ride, and received so much morre from the experience than I ever expected. Sue and her amazing team provided us with grooming and tacking time and instruction, opportunity to choose our horses, a fun lesson and assessment of riding ability in the indoor arena prior to trail ride, a beautiful ride through snow-dusted trees that was relaxing and enjoyable. Finished with another ride in the arena, candy treats for riders and apple treats and mints for the horses after the ride. Outstanding experience all around. Sue is fun, respectful, and kind with her instruction and truly enjoys teaching riders how to improve skills according to individual riding ability. Definitely returning in the spring! Go now!
