Gelinas Farm

I came upon Gelinas Farm shortly after I moved to New Hampshire. I came to Gelinas looking for guidance, training, and how to bond/give my young horse a proper restart. Many people in my town recommended I take my horse there. My experience ranges from showing around the country, winning world/national titles, fox hunting, etc. Due to this experience I have been to a lot of equine facilities and I have to say Gelinas is a very peaceful, super inviting equestrian facility for all types of riders and horses. I have consistently been trailering in for training lessons, Elaina came to my farm a few times to work through some young horse behaviors that escalated more at home, as well as attended clinics there. The farm and staff are SUPER professional, knowledgeable, and kind. It is a place where you feel comfortable taking risks and asking questions. Not to mention giggling and having fun through the process of learning! The team has done WONDERS for myself as a horse woman and for my young mare.

I was introduced to Joanne and Gelinas Farm a little over two years ago while I was going through a tough time in my life. Joanne put me together with the perfect horse, King, and then the perfect instructor, Janine. Both have turned my life around! The people at the barn are friendly and welcoming, everyone looks out for everyone's horses; it's a huge extended family! The facilities are in excellent condition, the horses receive the best care and attention. Looking for a place to board your horse and/or take riding lessons? Gelinas Farm is the place for you! I have been going to Gelinas for training, lessons and clinics for the past 4 years. The farm is a friendly and clean environment for owners and horses. I have had various horses trained by Joanne and Janine and couldn't be happier with the services! The best thing I find is that even though they train your horse it doesn't stop there, they work with owners and horses together to explain and teach; this has been such a valuable tool for me and my horsemanship. Staff is always friendly and generous in their time and explanations. I truly believe they want what is best for every horse and owner who passes through their gate! I feel as though I have an extended family in how I have been invited with open arms, my horses and I will be going back for years to come!

You can absolutely trust Gelinas Farm with your horse and your horses soul. They are knowledgeable, gentle, kind, and professional. Horses are allowed to be horses in great big open fields where they are slowly integrated into the pack. Training is done slowly in a step by step methodical manner without stressing the horse. The farm is always incredibly neat and tidy!

Joanne and everyone else at Gelinas are awesome! I trailer there for lessons and my horses and I always come away with new insights and skills. The atmosphere is wonderful and puts you and your horse at ease. Both my 9 year old and 3 year old mares have benefited greatly from the lessons we take with Joanne. There is really something there for everyone. Very highly recommend!

I rode here for over 20 years, boarding, taking lessons, and showing competitively. They helped with training for several green broke young horses that I went on to show successfully on the AQHA circuit. Joanne and Artie are excellent horsemen for those who want to take the time to develop their horsemanship, there are no quick fixes here. The facility is beautiful and clean. I am currently horseless but will be back when I get my next prospect!
