Rocky River Stables

I love this barn and it is my happy place. From all of the wonderful friends I have made and all of the learning experiences I have gained in the past 6 years. I have touched on the beginnings of dressage and jumping during my lessons and could not be happier with my instructors. I never want to leave this place, especially the best pony Abe.

Great place to learn horse riding.

My daughter has been taking lessons at Valley Riding for almost seven years and we've had a wonderful experience! From pony camp, to horsemanship and group lessons, the instructors, volunteers and staff have always been so kind and helpful. It's obvious how much they care for the students and the horses. Can't say enough about how great they are!

One star for their lack of professionalism and appreciation. We spent money here in the past, and I even used a scholarship they approved—as required by law—but there was very little to learn. All they really taught was how to stand beside a horse and how to sit on one. 🥱😒.

My wife's favorite place to ride

Very nice barn and horses. Great for beginners and therapeutic riders but not for advanced riders. I was there for 4 years (was my first lesson barn) and i only learned how to trot and go over poles. Also i feel like they are overprotective like one time we were getting out of the car by the fence and my dad stoped and looked at a horse playing in the arena and the owner said do not look at the horse or it would spook and this has happend to us many times. Sorry to say this but liz always does this thing were i ask a question and she will answer but like in the "uhhhhhhggggg dont you ever pay attention" voice. Also borders are alowed in the arena during lessons. Had to move to a different barn.

I love the program Halloran Park set up for my kids thave had a great summer with the houses and other events through their programs I love that my children are excited to go learn about taking care of the horses and cleaning them up a bit. Thank you
