HPR Show Stables

Holly is the quintessential essence of riding. Showmanship, respect, and love is the base to her excellence instruction. Holly can turn anyone in to an incredible horseman or horsewoman. Not only a rider, there is a significant difference between the two. Holly’s heart is made out of solid gold, which shows through in everything she does! I have known Holly for most of my life. She has taught me more than one can even imagine and I would not be the woman I am today if she had not come in to my life. I highly recommend this wonderful woman she will change your life and turn you in to an excellent rider along the way!

I have been riding with Holly for 16 years now, I started when I was eight years old and practically have grown up in the barn. Holly has taught me a lot throughout the years not just about horses but about life in general. She is a fantastic teacher, role model and friend, she takes such good care of her horses and my horse as well. I have been showing with Holly for almost as long as I have been ridding and I’ve accumulated over the years roughly over 200 ribbons all showing with HPR show stables, including the Morgan Gold Cup and the Morgan World Grand Nationals in Oklahoma and placed top ten in my age group two years in a row. I wouldn’t have gotten there without Holly and all of her coaching and support. All of my knowledge of horses has come from ridding with Holly, and I can confidently say that I am a very competent horse person because of her training. I highly recommend her for any person of any age looking for a genuine horseback riding experience.

Holly at HPR Show Stables and the team have become part of our family. She has guided my daughter since she was 8 years old into her teenage years, progressing her riding skills from fun, to Academy, to regional competitions in Hunt Seat, Saddleseat, and Dressage, and to now owning our own horse. Holly’s knowledge and expertise are extensive and she trains the whole horse and barn experience, not just riding. I highly recommend Holly and HPR Show Stables for anyone at any age with a curiosity or passion for riding.

I have been riding and learning from Holly for about 8 years. She not only takes wonderful care of my horse but she also takes care of me. She knows my strengths and definitely knows my weaknesses and is always trying to help me improve. We talk and laugh and have all kinds of fun! I don’t just consider her my trainer I consider her my friend.

Holly is a highly experienced, confident, and purposeful teacher, and an exceptionally serious horsewoman. Additionally, safety is paramount at this stable, which is so incredibly important when you are working with animals that weigh a thousand pounds or more. I have not only ridden under Holly's instruction for over 15 years, but have also learned the vital aspects of what it means to care for, train, and show horses under her guidance. Through HPR I've had countless opportunities to compete in hunter, jumper, and saddleseat disciplines. Whether you are looking for a riding coach, someone to train your horse, or just the opportunity to get introduced to these amazing creatures, HPR Show Stables can make it happen.

I had my first lesson, as an adult novice, with Holly the other day. It was fantastic. She is welcoming, accommodating and didn't make me feel like I was a waste of her time. Her knowledge and horsemanship are beyond far-reaching. The love and respect she has for her horses is evident as well as her love for her students. 10 out of 10 and I can't wait to go back.

Each lesson I have taken with Holly and HPR Show Stables thus far has been personally tailored to me, my skill level, and my learning style. Holly knows how to push me so that I am improving and learning every lesson, but is patient and kind when I am struggling with a concept or skill, regardless of its simplicity. Holly is always flexible with my schedule and budget, and is willing to answer my basic questions without judgement. She is continually helping me learn about myself, my riding, and the care of horses. If you are looking to have a personal experience learning about all aspects of horseback riding, I would highly recommend Holly and HPR Showstables.
