I thought I was going to have to euthanize my fur baby Debramarie, age 11 yrs, due to pyrometra. Cost to do surgery is very expensive, $10,000+. But the first dr, Dr Lau my first angel, from Sage Vet Hospital, could see i was very distraught. She started checking with other doctors' that could and would do surgery at a very heavily discounted rate. Enter Dr. Madden my second angel, from Animal Care Hospital. Dr. Madden truly discounted heavily her rates, so I could afford to save my fur baby's life. Dr. Madden did surgery on her and her teams time. In addition to surgery she had students in training do dental work with her supervision, at no cost. I thank God these 2 doctors and their team came into my and Debramarie's life. I am so thankful for God putting them in my path and guiding them to me! Whatever life she has left, I WILL ALWAYS be thankful to and for these very loving and giving people. 🥰🥰🥰 Debramarie is the white and Maddielynn is the black.

I cannot recommend this vet enough! | brought both of my cats in-especially my black cat who was really struggling-and the care they received was nothing short of amazing. My black cat is now 90 times better, and I truly believe it's thanks to the incredible team here and of course Dr. Garg. He really helped out my black cat that is dealing with respiratory conditions. Their compassion, expertise, and attention to detail made all the difference. I honestly don't trust anyone else with my pets. If you're looking for a vet who treats your animals like family, this is the place. Thank you for everything!

My daughter was emigrating to Denmark, with her cat, requiring a special government certificate of health. Very few veterinary clinics are authorized to provide this service. This clinic was the closest to my residence (Berkeley). There is on site parking which was convenient. Once in the clinic, the staff were friendly, professional and thorough. We saw two vets and a technician to guide us through the process. I was very impressed and happy with the service. The certification fee was astounding: $750. But, that is set by the government, and not the clinic. For those who haven't been through the process, you are required to complete the certification process NO MORE than 10 days before your departure. Highly stressful (on top of the fees!). The staff, aware of this did their best to provide us with their contact information if we had time-constraint problems. Very reassuring! Excellent service, full marks, highly recommended!

The response I have received from here has been refreshingly good. Since August, I have been to the office 4 times with my senior cat. And each time, sincere, caring people have received my cat. After having a recurring bacterial infection on my cat's face, they knew what to do to cure it. That was the introduction in August. Since then, it has been things like cutting Cody's nails and getting a senior blood panel done. Cody's nearly 20 yrs. young. SO, I highly recommend Animal Care Hospital of WC...having met with 3 of the doctors now, I feel I have gained the knowledge from a team to support me with any health issues for Cody. I feel they listen to my concerns and work with me to find the best treatment for Cody. Not pushing. For the animals, not for profit first.

These guys have really earned my trust after a bad experience at another vet. They go out of their way to answer questions and offer solutions and they treat my dogs so kindly.

I just love Animal Care Hospital of Walnut Creek. They really care about their patients. They will get you in when your pet needs immediate care if at all possible. Dr. Maag took the time to explain what was happening to my geriatric dog, along with options for treatment and the pros & cons for it all. {more than once}. He is always so patient and understanding. If you are looking for a dedicated, caring Veterinary practice that doesn't always try to upsell, but focuses on the health of your animal, don't hesitate to call Animal Care Hospital of Walnut Creek.
