My story is long so I will keep it short but basically I trapped a feral cat to get him neutered and discovered he had an injured paw. SRVH took him in and went above and beyond to help him. I am so incredibly grateful to them and the amazing donations I got to pay for his needs. I will definitely be recommending these wonderful people at San Ramon Veterinary Hospital and coming back when need be. I have add 3 photos of Samson and the last photo is him after his exam and treatment.

My beloved cat, Simba, passed away a few days ago at the age of 20. San Ramon Veterinary Clinic had been his doctor for many years, and I can’t thank them enough for the care they provided. After I moved to New York, my mom took care of Simba, and he became our family’s best friend and constant companion. Anyone with pets knows how much they mean to a family, and Simba was truly special to us. When the time came to say goodbye, the staff, including Josh, were incredibly kind, supportive, and compassionate throughout the entire process. They even sent a thoughtful thank-you card afterward, which meant so much. As much as any pet "likes" going to the vet, I know Simba always felt safe and well cared for there. We are so grateful for everything they did, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a veterinary clinic for their furry loved ones.

We’ve been clients for 14 years and have three dogs over that time as patients. We’ve used the boarding till 2019 and then again in 2023 but our 14 year old could not handle all the barking and noise. Automation Anywhere a geriatric dog it is best to not subject her to the location. As a vet they are good and in many cases they have a lot of turn over of Doctors but all are good and good with dogs. Meds are a bit high but they will compete when asked. Overall they are good and worth having as our vet.

Dr G is caring, patient, listened to me and was diligent and persistent in helping Hailey my mini schnauzer. She had 6 teeth pulled 2 weeks prior at another vets office. Her recovery was not going as expected. Dr G is quiet in a good way. He listens and figures things out The office staff is amazing. Very friendly, efficient and you can tell they like working for Dr G. I would recommend this office without hesitation. Thank you SRVH

I did not realize just how awfully predatory this place was until we found a new vet (Jack London Pet Hospital is a startling improvement). A general annual visit for 2 neutered cats cost me $1500 dollars in December 2025. I was desperate then to find a new vet but figured I'd have time before their next annual. Then, one of my boys had a swollen chin in February and needed medical attention. We took him in for his appointment at 11:30 am. They took one look at him and said, "well, this could be cancer. We need to do bloodwork to confirm." Within 10 minutes of them taking him to the back to do bloodwork, they told us he actually had a flea infestation which likely caused the swollen chin. While a swollen chin can absolutely indicate a chance of cancer, it was thrown at us so callously and insensitively. Then at 4:30 pm, 30 minutes after they closed and FIVE HOURS TOTAL LATER, when we were told it would be an 1.5 hours max (which is still a long time for bloodwork) the bill came out to another $1500 for an exam and bloodwork, this time, for just one cat. They basically threw the medication at us, barely explained what they were and how long to administer them, and haphazardly sent us on our way. I don't know who could possibly afford spending $3000 on their cats STANDARD care in less than 2 months with the most expensive work being bloodwork and screenings only performed once and no operations, procedures, or additional exams. I will never EVER go to San Ramon Veterinary Hospital again. I wish I could rate them at negative 500 stars. They prey on people wanting to care for their loved ones and act like they're doing you a favor. The technicians are very kind but Dr. Goraya won't spend more than 10 minutes with you and is happy to let his staff watch you cry as you try to figure out how the hell you can afford their egregious prices. I don't say this lightly. This clinic is cruel. It's absolutely deplorable to prey on pet owners in this way. I will never forgive them for robbing me blind and I hope they have to shut down so they can't continue causing harm. Deplorable pet hospital. Please save yourself the heartache.
