Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital

After being customers since the 1980's we are disappointed of the customer service lately. We had our dog in for an annual exam and a couple of days later they had a promotion for an annal exam and 60% off. When we called to see about an office credit, we were told that they wouldn't adjust the bill. Upon further conversation we expressed our dissatisfaction and suggested we should change vets and they said go ahead. Our family also takes their pets there and are changing. It seems the quality of service has declined since Dr. Fetzer retired.

Have been here since Dr Fetzer days through all of our pets over the last 25 years. Have loved all of the kindness and care throughout. Will continue coming to APVH.

If you love your pet, avoid this Vet. My daughter's 9 year old cat was having a heart issue. This vet gave the cat a steroid injection, which accelerated his condition and made it immediately a life threatening situation. She rushed her cat to another hospital, which told her it was now too late to save him. Arlington Park vet made the wrong decision, and caused my daughter much emotionl pain.

Great Staff and friendly place for your pet. Your dog is in very good hands here. I have no regrets. Everything you would want from your local vet.

We love this place!! We’ve taken our fur babies there for the past 25 yrs. All have gone to the obedience training in the back Of the hospital. The doctors have always been so loving and sweet to our babies. The office staff is AMAZING! It’s just so nice to know you can count on them especially when something goes wrong , they’re so empathetic and professional…. And the babies love all the kisses from the staff💕

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The managers name is Jeanie (last name not provided apparently the front desk didn’t know her last name 😒). I scheduled an appointment for my dog online in advance for 11:30am. I’’m on the way and get a missed call at 11:33, I call back at 11:35 and am told by the front desk if you’re 10 minutes late we have to reschedule. I arrive at 11:39 and they REFUSE to see me. They claim it was 11:40 when I arrived. I’m obviously livid as this policy is stated NOWHERE WHEN booking and they gladly take your $25 deposit but the manager is nowhere to be found when requesting a refund. ALSO I’m notified of this policy, 5 minutes AFTER appointment time. If I were white would they have made an exception? I bet they would. The person at the front desk is flustered and near tears because I was rightfully upset about this. What a disappointment, inconvenience and terrible customer service. My pet and I will obviously never return. Do NOT RECOMMEND.
