I highly recommend Deer Grove Animal Hospital 5 STARS! My dog Bella had an emergency Monday morning, scared and unsure what was going on, she is only 6 years old. The staff was great getting me in asap to get a diagnosis. After a few tests we were told our dog had Bladder Stones and needed surgery. Dr. Flahaven did an emergency surgery that same afternoon to remove many large bladder stones. The surgery went well and he covered everything from diet to meds and recovery. Thank you for saving our little Bella life. We are so grateful to have such an experienced, compassionate and professional team at Deer Grove for all our vet care. Bella sleeping peacefully after surgery! 😇

The veterinarian is the best of the best of the best! He handled both of our cats with ease, which no one was ever able to do. Our older cat bites and scratches anyone that's new and he was able to calm him down in a sec. The shots he gave to our cats didn't even hurt them and he did a complementary ear cleaning. He also gave us great advice on the things to buy for them and how to best take great care of our two beautiful ones. Let's just say he is one cool cat. Deer Grove Animal hospital is top notch and without a doubt the greatest animal hospital in the State.

Deer Grove Animal Hospital is one of a kind! We’ve been visiting Dr. Flahaven and his team for 5+ years and we always look forward to our appointments. When my childhood dog was declining in her old age, they were so accommodating for emergency visits and I will always appreciate how thorough, honest, and empathetic Dr. Flahaven was during that time. Since then, the team has been so excited to meet and love on all of our new additions! The front desk and vet techs are some of the sweetest people ever. They treat all of my pets like they are their own. I have a pretty nervous rescue pup. He’s 3 years old now and he’s never shown any signs of stress at Deer Grove. I think he really does look forward to it! Lastly, I just wanted to share some of the adorable things I overheard the vet techs saying to my new kitten while they were literally cleaning gross ear mites out of her ears because it made my day how sweet they were being to her. "Cutest cat ive ever seen" "Just a baby" "She is so CUTE" "We need to be more like this kitten" "Oh this kitten!!!" "You are just soooooooo SWEET" "I love you" *audible kisses* "Could you be any cuter?" When they walked back into the room with her: "Where did you find this!!!" Anyways, we love Deer Grove Animal Hospital and would recommend them to anyone in the area! Thank you for being so trustworthy and kind.

We love Deer Grove Animal Hospital and all their whole team there. Mark is an incredible veterinarian. We have two dogs Bongo and Lola who love them a lot. They’ve always looked out for our dogs and given them the best care. Recently we moved out family to Colorado but we can’t find a vet nearly as good as Mark. We were truly lucky to have taken our dogs to this place and to live close by. We still drive home to IL and take our dogs to Mark. They really care about animals and are very good at what they do.
