Love this place! I travel all the way from the city because I think the care for both their patients and the patients' owners is worth it! The manager, Melissa, definitely helped us out when looking into what would be the most cost-effective and helpful route for my cat. The front desk was considerate and helpful. Dr Lang treated my cat and me with compassion. would 100% recommend

Animal General on Hudson is simply amazing! 🤩 It’s friendly staff, reasonable fees, and knowledgeable veterinarians, provided excellent care to my dog. My dog has a condition that requires daily medication and they didn't hesitate to admit her as a new patient to ensure she receives proper treatment. They treated us all like established patients and gave us the help we needed. I will definitely return here for my pet's annual checkups. Thanks to all for what you do!

i will not bring my dog here moving forward. i tried to let this go instead of being negative, but my experience after several visits here is just not good. after looking at my credit card statement and the level of service i received and how stressed my dog was during the time under their care, i cannot in good conscious recommend this place to other pet parents. i added a star for dr. zelinski, who is a good vet, but the office itself has far too many inconsistencies for me to feel comfortable returning

Animal General is the veterinary clinic I used for many years for all of my pets. I find their prices to be fair. They are always upfront about all charges and clearly explain all procedures and medications they prescribe. They never push for any unnecessary procedures. I find the doctors and the staff to be knowledgeable, helpful and have a strong sense of ethics. They empathize with both, their patients and the parents (owners). I could not end the review without special mention of Dr. No. All of my pets (both a cat and dogs) lived a long, healthy and happy lives. I think I could not achieve it without the help of the doctors and the staff of the Animal General.
