Campus Veterinary Clinic

For more than 25 years I’ve had Campus Vet Clinic look after the succession of Brussels Griffons that took over my life. My Griffs have outlasted a couple generations of Campus vets, and the current crew and their cheerful support staff are worthy successors to those who came before. Drs. Pierson and Tam have helped ease my Trixie into her matronly years, keeping under control later-life conditions like dry eye and declining mobility. I am getting to the age when I wish the benefits of my own healthcare providers were as predictably positive as those enjoyed by my little friends. As always, we dog lovers strive to provide to our canine companions the things we cannot always get for ourselves.

We have been coming here for nearly 10 years and always had a good experience until our most recent attempted visit. The reception staff this time was rude and unsympathetic. I had trouble wrangling our very anxious cat for his appointment. I tried calling twice when the office was supposed to be open and the call went to voicemail. I left a message which no one apparently listened to. When I arrived late I was scolded and told the appointment was cancelled. I appreciate the office policy and not inconveniencing others, but honestly, if my appointment was delayed because someone had a problem getting their anxious pet to the office, I would understand. Alternatively, if someone had just answered the phone and told me not to bring the cat in late, it would have been fine. Instead, he was traumatized for nothing. A subsequent email to the office drew a snarky response and a promise to inform the manager. I never heard from the manager but did receive the robo-request to post a review on Google for my cat's non-appointment. We will be going to a different vet from now on.

Caring, compassionate knowledgeable care Is what we have consistently received over the past 12 years. They were with us for the entirety of my labs 12 years from his first shots till being put to rest last August after cancer. They continue to care for our four-year old maltipoo, and our recently rescued one year-old pitbull. we are grateful to have such a strong team there for us when needed.

When we moved to the Bay, we needed a vet for our kitties. Dr Bess, at Campus Veterinary Clinic is the BEST! She so clearly LOVES animals, and it shows I the way she talks to, approaches, and examines her patients. She was so gentle and loving with both of our cats - one of whom is a vinegary gal and the other of whom is skittish. The vet techs are wonderful too, kind and patient with the animals. And, the front office staff is always ready with a smile!

I am so grateful to Dr. Pierson, Christine, and the team for the extraordinary care they have provided my dog, Cody for over 10 years. They are warm, caring, and talk honestly about choices regarding treatment and financial considerations. They have always gone above and beyond- just the absolute best!

Dr. Bess was so kind and so willing to explain our cat's care plan so she can live her longest, best life with us. Everyone is so friendly and they truly care.

The staff are competent, friendly and great with my nervous cats. The facility is well-maintained and conveniently located. The Dr I saw last week was thorough, good at explaining things, and reassuring.
