Prospect Animal Hospital

We will never bring our dog here again! We never had issues with our first vet but decided we wanted one closer to our home so we thought we would try here. On our first visit there they muzzled him and then did what I would say was a 3 person take down to give him his shots. He was scared and hyperventilating and it was really scary. We decided to try again and they muzzled him out in the lobby for no reason. We just took him to a new vet and our experience was great with no issues and he was very comfortable the whole time. Guess what, no muzzle was needed!! The new vet had to call numerous times for his records. Overall, go somewhere else where they are more attentive to your pets needs. Also they did a senior blood test on him that cost over $400 without informing us of the price. We would have done it anyway but it was a sticker shock when we went to pay.

We honestly cannot recommend Prospect Animal hospital any higher. Dr Dodin and her staff are outstanding and truly care about animals. We recently say goodbye to our 13-year-old golden retriever. It was extremely hard experience for our family and Doctor and her team treated us and our dog, Dottie, so well. During her time with cancer, the doctor and her team went out of there way to celebrate our dog whenever she visited the office. Our dog loved it and our family did as well. They treat their pets like their own and that is what you want with dealing with a treasured member of the family. Doctor Dodin is very knowledgeable and the kind of person you immediately feel comfortable with. If you have a dog you love, I highly recommend bringing them here. You won’t be disappointed.

We’ve been bringing our dog to Prospect Animal Hospital for many years, and we seriously can’t thank them enough. Dr. Dodin is amazing and she truly cares about our dog like he’s her own. The whole staff is just as wonderful. Everyone there is warm, patient, and always goes out of their way to make sure our dog is comfortable and well cared for. He’s 15 now and still doing great, and a huge part of that is because of the care he gets here! I highly recommend Prospect Animal Hospital.

Full review with photos on yelp. The gist of it is that they ripped adhesive tape off my dog leaving her skin raw and hairless. Horrible. Can never trust them again with the safety and care of my sweet baby.

I usually make choices about where to buy service based on Yelp and google ratings. This place is definitely a 5! Most vets I've tried or secret shopped had terrible front desk staff which brings ratings down but truly, this place is the total package. The vet is sensational and very experienced. The pricing is competitive and the actual office ran well with smiling faces to greet us. Great Job!!!

Amazing experience getting an international health certificate for my pets flight. All the staff and Dr. Dodin are all so nice and gentle with the animals. They prepared all our paperwork and made sure nothing was missing.

Dr. Dodin and the entire Prospect Animal Hospital is the absolute best. I’ve never had a pet the loves the vet until going to Dr. Dodin. Both my dog and cat go into Prospect Animal Hospital excited and anxiety free. They are greeted with love and patience from all of the staff. I will never go to another vet again after working with this amazing facility.
