I recently got a new rescue dog after not having any pets for 4 years, and my old favorite vet has retired. I tried a different vet first that has super reviews, but I noticed that everything around their office is focused on, "Give us a review!" Maybe that is why they got their good reviews? I was not impressed. My new dog votes no on vets. Even with medications to help her stay calm and tolerate the vet visit the first vet was unable to examine her without a muzzle or taking her in the back. The doctor at Ark sat on the floor calmly and spoke quietly. My dog slowly began to approach the vet and let the vet do more and more to examine her. Before we were done the vet was able to listen with her stethoscope and see everything she needed to see right in the exam room. She was knowledgeable about what was happening with my dogs ears, and gave us a prescription to use if it didn't go away on its own. Seems I have found my new favorite vet. As a bonus, I mostly command my dog in a foreign language and this vet is familiar with that set of dog commands.

Took my snake Velma into the vets office for what i thought was a respiratory infection. Ended up being GI related but vet showed me what to look for and why RI wasn't a concern. I loved the knowledge and recommendations she had for her inclosure. After doing her recommendations, Velma is living her best life, thank you ARk!

For about seven years now, we have been experiencing the exceptional service at the Ark Pet Hospital. Recently, my girl needed a surgery that I was initially uncomfortable with, but thanks to the outstanding care provided by Dr. Hageman, Michelle (the front office manager) and the rest of their extraordinary staff (vet technicians who were brave enough to take my girl and other receptionists) everything went seamlessly. Their kindness, compassion, and empathetic behavior are a shining example of what it means to provide exceptional pet care.

Staff was very friendly, professional and interacted easily with our 2 cats, who don't usually sit still with people they don't know.

I absolutely love their pocket pet & small critter care. We rescued a mouse (a dwarf with a malocclusion) we found in our kitchen sink. She is obviously special needs, and after over a decade of dog rescue, we were not about to let this little one try to fend for herself. SO, we called around and found Ark. They came highly recommended and were incredibly helpful. They told us what to feed her until we could get her in (baby food for the win!), and Dr Lori was amazing, while also being very upfront about what we will be dealing with when it comes to a mouse that is special needs. We just had her first teeth trimming, which cost approximately ⅓ of what we were quoted elsewhere. Ridley, the Blind Mouse, is now the newest rescue at Boo's Place Animal Sanctuary, and all donations are appreciated! We are now over $1000 into a blind mouse (proper habitats don't come cheap), but all lives are important, and Ark is helping us keep our bills as low as possible. For that, we will forever be grateful. If you have a pocket pet, please give Ark a shot at treating them. They will get phenomenal care. Update: Ridley has made it to her one year birthday, which means she's an official senior citizen! We are so grateful to Dr. Lori and her amazing staff. 🫶🏼🐭💜
