We bought a saddle that was used 1 time. It was mailed to us. We rode in it once, and the seat angle made my daughters leg placement terrible. We sent it right back. That was 25 days ago and we still don't have our money back. I've made many calls this month to them and they claim that it takes 2-3 weeks to process a return. They have their merchandise and my money (which is no small chunk of change). I've never done business with any type of store that doesn't refund your money right away. I view this as stealing! If you're thinking about buying something from them you better think long and hard! Update: Today I get a phone message from them (1 1/2 years later) stating, "We don't appreciate negative comments about our business," and wondered if I was confused and wrote this about another business. Nope, no confusion here. In order to resolve this issue I had to call my bank. Thankfully I used my Visa debit card and they were able to go after them for me to get my money back. The bank told me that businesses have 7 days to refund your money. 30+ days is unacceptable and, "I didn't appreciate it."

I wouldn’t buy cases anywhere else: saddle, bridle, garment and boot bags. They stand behind what they sell and you won’t find a better fit. Lovely custom chaps from there and always smiling and helpful. Did take a bit to process a refund, but the owner isn’t the accounting person, and my order was during AQHA Congress, so a crazy busy time a ways from home. Sometimes just understanding how things work is helpful. Always great to work with and custom orders are to die for.

I ordered boots from the store in Cedar Rapids hoping they would be here before I left for state fair. They weren’t ordered until almost a week later and I didn’t have them for fair. They came today and they fit good in the foot but not the leg. They are too "baggy" and too tall. They are so tall that they go over my kneecap and are starting to crease in the middle front.

Purchase a halter at Quarter Horse Congress October of 2017 It is now March 27th The owner gave me the same run around and said custom halters cannot be returned Also she stated " The GUYS WERE SWAMPED AND THEY HAD NOT STARTED ON MY HALTER YET. If, they havent started on the Halter yet and I had given her the exact measurements for a mare size halter, and I recieved a BASIC RUN OF THE MILL OVER THE COUNTER HORSE SIZED HALTER WHICH I SENT BACK AFTER CHRISTMAS requestig the stones put on and the readjustments be made. Since they have NOT started on My halter. I would like a refund 350.00 plus 5'25% Ohio Sales Tax This Tack room is not concerned about their customers and will not stay in business very long. In Ohio small claims court is 200.00 and above I would like my refund this week. I am NOT waiting around any more it has been six months

Great customer service with helpful staff. Shopped at the Tack Room 15 years ago and again in 2022 and they always work to provide the best.
