Lucky Buck's Formal + Wedding

Everyone here was absolutely amazing. I don’t like shopping at all, and after going to another store where no one helped me, I walked out frustrated. The second I walked into Lucky Bucks, the women there were wonderful. They kept bringing me dresses, stayed available the entire time, helped with zippers—everything. If you’re like me and not a shopper, you know how much that kind of support matters. Trying on formal gowns is exhausting for me, and I usually get overwhelmed and leave. That didn’t happen here. One quick tip: GPS will take you to the back of the building, but they’re actually located in the front—don’t let it fool you. This will be my go-to place for formal dresses from now on. 💕

Wow! We were really impressed with this consignment store and with the service we received. I visited this shop with my daughter looking for a last minute replacement for a wedding gown she bought online through JJ’s House. The gown was not made correctly and it was a huge ordeal trying to get it altered. We finally gave up and decided to start over. This was one of two shops we visited looking for a replacement. At each of them we found a dress we really liked. Although we ultimately chose the other, it was a hard decision. Lucky Bucks has a great selection, and I appreciated that they only take dresses made in the past couple of years, that the person selling must still have the original tags (first owner), and that they must be dry cleaned and have only minimal imperfections. My daughter tried on some beautiful gown in excellent condition there. Also, the two young women who helped us (Payton and Katie) were very helpful and pleasant. They looked over the notes I had taken about what my daughter likes and brought out dresses that were in that style. And they were absolutely respectful of our budget! I would definitely return to this store if I need a dress for a formal occasion. It also was a very easy drive from Austin where we live. Thanks, Lucky Bucks!

We had the best time shopping at Lucky Bucks German market! Their selection of kids’ dirndls, lederhosen, and German hats is absolutely adorable. The outfits are beautifully made with so much attention to detail. My kids loved trying everything on. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about quality and heritage. If you’re looking for something special and charming, especially for yourself or your little ones, this is the perfect place!

My husband and I both purchased our German clothing from Lucky Bucks and were so happy with our experience. They have a huge selection of dirndls, lederhosen and German hats and we were able to outfit ourselves with proper German clothing right around the corner from our home. They carry a wide variety or brands and sizes of dirndls and I headed back this year to expand my collection.

I came here with a tight budget for a wedding dress (under $1000 including the cost of any alterations), because I already bought a dress and got it altered elsewhere but it didn’t fit properly. Katie and Payton were so kind and helpful, they kept checking in to make sure I liked the dresses they were bringing, they were never pushy, and only brought me dresses in my price range. I definitely wish I had started my wedding dress search here and I’d use them again in a heartbeat for any formal dress I need!
