Today I went to Cuadra at Fashion Show Mall, a store that claims to have a good reputation, to buy a pair of boots. I found a pair I liked, tried them on, but they were scratched. I asked for a new pair from the warehouse, and the staff said yes. I waited over 30 minutes, and then they tried to hand me the exact same scratched boots — as if I wouldn’t notice. They clearly thought they could take me for a fool. I was furious and asked for my money back, and the manager told me they don’t do refunds. That was the final straw. If they had just been honest from the beginning, I might have still bought them. But the fact that they tried to deceive me is what really pissed me off. I chose to support Cuadra because it’s a Mexican-owned brand and I wanted to spend my money there instead of elsewhere. But after this experience at the Fashion Show Mall location, never again. I won’t be coming back, and I absolutely do not recommend this store. Maybe other Cuadra stores offer better service, but this one was a complete disappointment. Don’t waste your time or money.

Worst retail experience with Crystal Yanez. I shop the fashion show mall avidly and Cuadra piqued my interest with their boots and mix of Mexican/American heritage. Upon first impression the store and staff were wonderful but as soon as I came in to return something I bought less than a week ago; Crystal had the nastiest demeanor toward me and almost didn’t even acknowledge me at first when I approached the counter. Throughout the interaction she was degrading and rude to the point where her associate stood there looking genuinely embarrassed. I left the store not being able to be accommodated in any way shape or form nor did the staff seem sorry in the slightest with their behavior. No matter how comfortable their tacky boots are or how nice looking their poorly fitting shirts may seem, I will never step foot or spend my money at any Cuadra location again thanks to Crystal! That comment may hold some weight with how slow their location has been lately…for good reason I’d be willing to bet. Zero stars for Cuadra and for Crystal particularly.

The clothes are great. But the employees didn’t acknowledge us or greet when my boyfriend and i came in with family. I was interested in spending money at the store but when you greet other people after based on how they’re dressed, that puts me off. Don’t bother with this location. They’ll judge you too
