This was my first experience buying boots for my son. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and patient with us. She did not make us feel pressured to purchase anything. She spent a lot of time making sure the boots fit right. My son left with a beautiful pair of boots and belt buckle. We will definitely be back for a hat!

I visited this shop because I have attended their rodeos and was genuinely excited to explore their boutique. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The two associates working at the time, who I believe are the owners, made my husband and me feel judged and unwelcome from the moment we walked in. I am not someone who is quick to bring up race. I am conservative, have a medium complexion, and we were dressed in authentic western clothing. Despite this, we were treated as if we were suspicious or did not belong there. The older woman spoke to me in a rude and dismissive manner, while the older man closely watched us as we shopped without offering a greeting or assistance. This behavior made the experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. It was upsetting to feel profiled in a place I was genuinely excited to support.

Love this place! It's like going back in time when you step in the store. Audrey is awesome and really knowledgeable about cowboy hats, boots, belts. Very friendly too! Highly recommend.

Awesome customer service and time spent at Rowell’s! Gary helped me find the belt buckle and cowboy hat I’ve been wanting for a few years now, couldn’t be more pleased with it and the shop. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a good western store!

Purchased trinkets for gifting and a hat during the Grand National Rodeo, when they came over to the Cow Palace in San Francisco, and was utterly impressed with the authentic, friendly, old-fashion customer service, as well as their extensive product knowledge. Businesses like this are few and far between in the Bay Area! This review is also a bookmark for me so I remember the address of your shop. Will definitely see you again when it's time for another hat, and frankly, I can't wait to see your other products selection at that time. I regretted not getting the colorful throws as well.... They were so beautiful, and the price was right! Thank you for all your time and patience during my purchase!

My experience with the lady was nice . However , I do understand that a cow had to die to make my puppy treat pouch.... my reason 1 star is the workmanship for $50.00. The stiching wasn't straight..I had to reimburse the sides and the snap broke. All within a month of use. I bought leather thinking it would last .... boy was i mistaken...I had wanted something totally different...(which the woman talked me out of.) a harder leather ( like belt leather) and sides would have been better and looked better....
