Had a couple of hours in Billings and asked a local couple if there was a good tack shop in town, as I had been chasing a bit I couldn’t find in Kansas. Grabbed an Uber—and wow, was I given great advice. This is a fantastic local custom saddle, tack, and metal shop. I was greeted by Amy, the owner, and showed her a picture of the bit I was looking for. She took me into the first of two rooms filled with hundreds of bits, ranging from full custom to standard options—an absolutely exceptional inventory. Amy immediately found a bit that was almost exactly what I needed. The only difference was the shank length, and that was no issue at all. She wrote up a custom order on the spot and is having it built and shipped to me in Kansas. Easy peasy. I browsed the rest of the shop and ended up leaving with a couple of headstalls as well. Truly a great shop—Billings is lucky to have them, and I was luckier to find them.....

Incredible custom saddle purchasing experience. Working with brad felt like a friend is guiding you through the building process. I went into this with a rough idea, Brad helped me figure out the rest. The leather work and build quality are fantastic. I couldn’t recommend working with Buckaroo Businesses more. They have earned my business from here on out.

We popped in because I thought the name was so cute! We are visiting from Canada & I’ve never seen a place like this! The bits are insane. They are so beautiful. They have a really cute baby/kids section. I got my sister the cutest book. We will definitely back.

I’m not a horseman, but my son is. We always stop here when in Billings just to look around. Staff is always friendly and charming. I usually buy one of their ball caps to wear when home in CA.... it always gets a compliment!

Great place for unique gifts and everything horse.

I bought one of their saddles used from a buddy of mine and gave them a call to gather some more information on the saddle. A pleasure to deal with and they treated me like a paying customer. The used saddle I bought is beautiful and well built. I’ll be looking to them for any future purchases and sending anyone I know their way! Thanks guys
