My friend and I came across this well-curated vintage shop that also happens to have the most reasonably priced items, from the 60s-90s! The owner explained her ethos for pricing, which is to make vintage more accessible to folks (incredible)! I walked away with a fantastic oversized denim jacket and classic cowgirl boots - exactly what I was looking for. And Celby, the owner, is super helpful in finding what you need! Definitely give this local business a try - you might find the perfect little bit of TX to take home.

Palomino Traders is such a gem. Celby was incredibly helpful and made the whole experience feel easy and personal without being pushy. The store itself is a great vintage shop with an amazing selection you can really tell everything is curated with care. The rustic country atmosphere is especially cool and original, but more than that, it’s genuinely inviting. It feels like a place you want to hang out in, not just shop. I ended up buying a super comfortable sweater that’s perfect for this time of year and somehow looks even better on me than I expected. Overall, Palomino Traders is a very welcome addition to East Austin. It adds character to the neighborhood and is absolutely worth stopping into if you appreciate great vintage, a warm vibe, and friendly people.
