Feathers Boutique Vintage

This boutique definitely has some really beautiful and unique vintage pieces. I can tell there’s a strong eye behind what’s being selected. The pricing is on the higher end and the sizing is limited. Most of the pieces seemed geared toward slender bodies — probably around size 6 and down, with a lot of pieces looking closer to size 2–4. Before coming in I had read a few reviews where people mentioned pricing or other concerns and the owner’s responses felt defensive. Reading those responses did shape how it felt walking into the space for me. That said, the woman who helped me while I was there was great. She was welcoming and helpful. There are definitely some beautiful pieces here if the sizing and price point line up for you.

The variety and styling are fantastic, but the staff take it to another level. Summer was amazing. She was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and so incredibly helpful. She has such a great sense of fashion and is such an asset to this exceptional vintage shop.

I LOVE this place!! Every time i visit, it’s a must for me to stop by and I ALWAYS find a little treasure to treasure! Prices are so good and fair. A must visit for anyone who loves a good vintage find.

One of my fave vintage shops in Austin! Feather’s Vintage is such a gem on South Congress. The style and curation are amazing, and it’s one of the few shops that has stood the test of time while so much around it has changed. Every time I pop in, it makes me happy!!!

Had a super weird interaction with the girl with baby bangs at checkout. I wanted to take a pair of sunglasses next door while I continue to shop and I misunderstood that feathers isn’t connected to prototype vintage. I swear it was years ago? She came off super hostile.. I understand what it’s like to work retail and it’s definitely not for everyone. Definitely could have been more patient and went about the conversation differently. Update: This response misrepresents what happened. I was not rude or disruptive. I was spoken to dismissively by staff, which is why I left my review. Reframing my experience as a customer behavior issue instead of addressing how your employees spoke to me is inaccurate. My review reflects the interaction accurately.

I’ve been coming here forever. The best in Austin. Rare Levi’s, to couture vintage to unusual once in a lifetime pieces. It’s a can’t miss!!!
