Chisos Boot Store on South 1st street is a hidden gem. They are a homegrown boot company, with an amazing team that’s dedicated to their craft. Their boots are damn comfy, use the highest quality materials, and are hand made. They are also dedicated to Texas land conservation. Would recommend supporting this local brand

I have finally found a boot maker that has a superior product (inside and outside is high quality). The comfort is immediate, like you’ve already been wearing them. I can’t stress enough how comfortable they are. I was shocked at seeing how other "legacy" boot makers cut corners on the construction of their boots (just google boot comparisons where they cut them in half) and in some cases charge double what Chisos does. I’m extremely happy with my new pair of No 2 boots and will be buying a few other styles in the future!

I live in Houston, Texas, and I was skeptical about ordering boots online because I was worried about the fit. My husband’s favorite Chisos boots got destroyed by our older puppy a couple of weeks before Christmas and there were none available in his size on the website. I reached out and asked if they could let me know when they were back in stock. Not only did Gannon answer my message the same day, he also helped me order and get a new pair sent out the same day! They were here in time for Christmas and I was able to completely surprise my husband! I was so happy with the entire experience! My husband owns a few pairs of Chisos and he absolutely loves them all! Great company, great boots, great service! I can’t say enough good things about them!

Let me start with saying this is the comfiest boot I've worn. BUT, the experience of trying them on instore at their HQ storefront was very worth it. From the second you breach the door, leather. Fresh leather is all you can smell. A very quaint and aesthetic lounging area available to try on boots. It's like Ollivanders Wands but for cowboy boots. You don't pick the boot, it picks you. I walked in wanting a No. 2 Square Toe, and walked out with a No. 6 Roper. Also, if Juan is there, you're in good hands. He'll help you get the right size, & he's an all around cool guy to hang out with. 6/5star experience.

Juan is amazing service. Got my Number 2 in Ostrich two weeks ago. Best boots I’ve ever had! Can’t beat Chisos for quality and comfort!
