I've found a few good deals over multiple visits, but I also end up exclaiming to myself as I walk around at how high the prices are for donated stuff. A faded cotton blanket/table cloth for $30?? Moth eaten sweaters for $20? I don't get it. There are many more items I would have bought, had they been priced better. I'm happy to support a good cause, but I also expect sane thrift prices in doing so. I would encourage folks to donate elsewhere, like Thrift Works, who could have better inventory, are a good cause, and they keep their prices low.

They had a bin of saddles for only $20 per saddle! As a leather worker, I will definitely be making some cool things from these. Excellent place to acquire some antique leather for projects. They also had fairly priced boots and riding saddles. Super cool spot. Check it out!

Good deals! Caring and kind staff! Lots of designer donations in great shape at ‘grab ‘em quick’ prices! I make it a point to stop in whenever I visit Santa Fe. This time I found a wonderful framed antique photograph of France for only $10, and an assortment of clothing— casual, and opera-worthy, for less than $50 total! And yes, it all goes to help needy and neglected horses.

Let me start off by saying that I do love this place and that I try to stop by whenever I am able to. The employees have been lovely and I usually don’t leave empty handed. I stopped in today and the two employees were doing a bit of complaining about work and whatnot, and that’s fine, but then a family of maskless people came in and they weren’t asked to be masked at all. I was on my way out already anyway but it didn’t sit well. I noticed the door still had an outdated sign saying that it wasn’t required of vaccinated patrons to wear a mask. I understand that it’s mildly inconvenient to wear a mask, but the pandemic is NOT over, even for the vaccinated. We can all still get sick and spread this illness. I’d love to continue shopping here, but I just don’t love what I saw today.

Dear Mr. Pool Man, I am the lady that you mentioned in your negative review. You left out a lot of information. Your son took the Geronimo doll and walked around the whole store for over 30 minutes with it and I assumed you guys would be purchasing it. When yall were leaving there was no doll and it was not returned to the doll area. All I asked was where the doll was so I could return it to where it belonged. What was odd was you guys put the doll down in the opposite end of the store where the kitchen plates are. It’s almost like you were trying to set me up to question you. The Horse shelter benefits 96 current horses and is a great organization doing great work for these animals.

This place supports horses and I’ve been happy to donate and buy here. But the prices have risen dramatically over the years and I do not find it friendly or fun any more. The staff people do not say hello. Today I had the creepiest experience yet. I stopped in to see all the art and furniture, was looking for a cabinet and a shirt. I went upstairs to check on the saddle and boot prices and was followed by a man who just watched me browse as if I was a shoplifter. He followed me back down the stairs as I left. I’d rather shop somewhere else.
