Barlas Feeds

I come here to over kote and paving material. It's closer and convenient location make it our go to stop when we need to restock on materials. The customer service is courteous, professional and efficient. Making Bar las Feed our top locations to shop at! Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of any of the services provided by them. I forgot to mention they also have a variety of food for your livestock chickens and cows hence their name Barlas Fees just wanted to add that to this. you wouldn't think they sell material for paving and seal coating but they do and they also have the brushes, crack filler material three different thicknesses.

This place is great! I first came here last year when I started my first garden. I needed a bale of hay and I really like the idea of it being organic. Everyone has been super helpful and so incredibly kind and friendly. They are all very knowledgeable and it's great that I get to geek out about everything I learned about gardening.

My nine year old son and I went to pick up three chickens on 5/6/20. Dominic and Rocco were super helpful and friendly! They even took the time to be interviewed for my son's school project. Got the birds home and within six hours we already had three eggs! The next morning we had three more! It's an experience my son will remember for a long time. We drove an hour and a half to get there and an hour and a half back home. But I know that when I am in the area, I will be visiting these guys for provisions or even just to say hi! Thank you Dominic and Rocco for being so willing to accommodate us and making our experience golden!!!

Update: I'm adding an additional star because the customer service was stellar in handling my complaint of bugs on the bags. This is still my go to place for feed now!!! Fantastic price, quality and service! Original Post: I found this place great for cost of feeds especially organic!!! However the quality of feed or maybe the way it's stored was subpar as every feed bag had bugs.

Hands down, Barla’s is the only place in Sonoma County to buy hay and support as a local business. Quality hay, honest prices and up front communication every time - I hope to never have to purchase from anyone else while my business in in Sonoma County. We have been getting our hay and grain supplies from Barlas Feed in Petaluma for almost a year. The quality of their alfalfa is superior to that of our previous supplier. The best part of Barlas is their high level of customer service. This permeates throughout the entire organization, from the people who answer the phones to the delivery personnel. Been going there for 30 yrs. New owners buy cheap hay. Quality fluctuates. 2 bales were really bad. They didn't want to take them back but finally relented. Not inexpensive either. I only go there for one thing now. Never buy hay there again. Although I went there early this summer and they had excellent 3-way hay that all my animals love
