Absolutely delightful to visit! Plant lovers will thoroughly enjoy going visiting even if some may think it’s a tad bit expensive. Unique ceramics and decor, common houseplants, books and other plant paraphernalia available! Helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff! So many photo ops. I’d totally buy something if I didn’t have a million plants already. Although I wish there were more exotic items or those not-for-sale ginormous plants (there’s one anthurium! Must visit even if you have no intention of buying. Wheelchair accessible.

We got our fresh cut Christmas tree from Terrain! It’s beautiful and reasonably priced compared to the ones selling by the road side. We love the ornaments and the plants selection they have in store as well. Definitely worth the visit. You do not need BBG admission to go to the store.

Happy I was finally able to visit a Terrain in NYC. Smaller than ones in other states, but it is beautifully done. Good selection of plants, garden supplies, and home decor.

Terrain is a beautiful gift shop. We found some unique gifts there: lychee soaps, lotion, and hand wash.

I was excited to see this Terrain outpost. On a rainy day I stopped in to see if I could buy a botanically themed umbrella (a staple of public garden shops in the UK, and so clever). But after a browse around the store (definitely no umbrellas) and seeing how many dying plants there were, I lost hope. Some were overwatered and sitting in pools, some were dying of thirst. The crew of oblivious and aloof staff breezed around chatting and ignoring customers while the plants died. I actually miss the old store. It had more variety.
