Dover Saddlery! Welcome to Sacramento!!! The Long Awaited Opening of the New Dover Location is Happening! As of March 8, 2023, the doors are open for customers! The Grand Opening will be March 25 & 26th! The store is beautiful, and the smell of new leather welcomes you in! Merchandise is well displayed and easy to find! The staff is friendly and helpful! While Dover mostly caters to English riders, western riders will find boots, bits, blankets, wormers, grooming, treats, toys, houseware, etc. It's conveniently located at 80 & Madison! This is an equestrians Nordstrom and is well worth a visit!

We stopped by while heading to home (Sonora) from Oregon. There are very few places that sell riding boots in Central California. We are very new at riding. We’ve never worn field boots or anything. We showed up right before closing. The women there were amazing. They took their time to find the right boots that fit us they way they should, and felt good. Very knowledgeable and patient with us and our questions. My daughter and I both have difficult feet to fit. Mine are narrow with small ankles and medium calves, and hers are big with bigger ankles, but thin legs. I was seriously impressed at how great they were. They also didn’t push in to spending more than necessary, and we wouldn’t have known the difference. I highly suggest going here for boots, especially.

Great customer service at this sacramento area location in person and on the phone. 10/10. I tried on approximately 1 million pairs of breeches to figure out what style I like, now that I’m riding again. The ladies working were all very patient and helpful to figure out and meet my needs. They had great suggestions and ended up bringing me a few pairs that I purchased. Prices I experienced are normal Dover saddlery prices, and normal prices for each brand. Very large selection.

Loved my visit on 3/17/23. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The store was well stocked. So glad to have a nice tack store in Sacramento! Most horse stuff is better appreciated in person and it's nice to be able to try things on. Can't wait to go back :).

Very nice and clean store but I went today to buy a saddle. I was basically ignored by all but the employee nearest the door that said welcome when I came in. I was in the store for about 20 minutes and was never asked what I was looking for or if I needed anything so I left.

I love this store and the employees are so helpful and informative. They do help a lot with fitting me with boots/saddles/helmets etc. Such a great store!
