FiT For A King Tailors

I took my gown to have it shortened. They measured it while I was wearing the dress and shoes, and I clearly said I didn’t want it touching the floor. After three weeks, I picked it up and tried it on. Very disappointing results. The sides are above the floor while the front and back still drag very unevenly. It’s a very poor job for $81 on a simple double hem. They tried to blame it on me not wearing the shoes, but even standing on two phone books, the hem was still uneven and touching the floor in places. I won’t be coming back. The place is messy and I’ve lost confidence in their work. I feel ripped off.

We came into Fit for a King Tailors with a wardrobe-malfunction emergency, and they truly saved my day! The ladies were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient with me throughout the whole process. I felt genuinely cared for. When I picked up my jumpsuit, I was even more impressed, it fit perfectly! The turnaround time was fast, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. Although the outside sign says All Star Tailors, the business is Fit for a King, and they absolutely live up to the name. I highly recommend them for any tailoring needs!

Bought my daughter’s Prom ($43) & Graduation ($24) dress offline for and found this location at the last minute and they fitted every to her body like a glove. She looked so beautiful 🥰‼️ This was my first time getting something tailored and so I’m not familiar with prices. I spend a little over $200 it was fair to me seeing I bought the dresses at such an affordable price. They are worth every penny! And the Seamstress made the alterations in 3-4 days time. Also the Pink prom dresses didn’t come with cuffs. When the seamstress cut the train shorter so my baby wouldn’t trip or rip her gown, she added them to the gown for more corset support which was something I asked for.

Was not particularly satisfied with my service from this tailor. While my bridesmaid dress was trimmed nicely and with quality it was just not cut short enough. Even when I insisted they bring it up just a little higher during the fitting I was brushed off and ignored. The dress ended up catching frequently on the day of the wedding and was quite a pain to deal with. I'm sure they offer fine service for certain garments but I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I requested a full alteration (width and length) for a shirt, and the staff member nodded and behaved as if she understood my requirements perfectly. However, they only completed half the work and then demanded more money to finish the rest, claiming the length wasn't included in the original price. ​If you do not speak their language or understand technical tailoring terms, they will likely take advantage of the confusion. It is highly unprofessional to operate a business in the U.S. without a staff member who can communicate clearly with English-speaking customers. I was charged a premium price for an incomplete "mess," ​ New customers: Beware of hidden costs and ensure every single detail is written down in a language they actually understand before you pay a dime. Better yet, find a more professional establishment that values honesty over extra fees.

I must commend "Fit For A King Tailors" for their excellent service. I had alterations done on my pants and dress as they were too big and too long. The results were satisfactory... Thank you very much!

Wow! The customer service here is superb. He really focuses on his customer’s satisfaction. I had a last minute black tie dinner come up and the dress I found was over a foot too long. I needed it in 3 days and they were able to get it done beautifully. It fit PERFECTLY when I went to try it on. Fast service, beautiful stitching, and very good customer service and care. The price was cheaper than my coworkers who used other tailers as well. Multiple people complimented the dress at the event. I will be coming back!! Before and after pictures below!
