Five stars for the employees and the amazing customer service!! Went to Talbots to look for a sweater and bought a red vneck cashmere sweater. A couple weeks later I received a hand written thank you card! I couldn’t believe it! Talbots will get all of my business, talk about the champagne experience! #customerobsessed

I’ve shopped at Talbots for years In stores in both Alabama in Florida and am stunned at the lack of customer service and rudeness of the staff in the store on South Memorial Parkway in Huntsville, AL. I’ve been in the store at least half a dozen times in the last six months and today by far was the worst. I went to the counter to make a return, and the woman never addressed me at all. Although, I looked right at her and said I needed to make a return she never spoke until I actually asked her name.The only thing she had to say after that was "your money will go back on your PayPal account". I just don’t know what else to say about such customer service. I would like to leave her name, but I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume there’s something very unhappy in her life that would cause her to behave this way. Nevertheless, every experience I’ve had at this location is subpar to all other experiences I’ve had with Talbots. I doubt I’ll shop at Talbots again.

Yesterday I was in the store to look for clothing for an upcoming trip. Sandra greeted me moments after I entered the store. She was fabulous! Once she knew what I was looking for she found several pieces that are perfect for my trip. Thank you, Sandra!

I have been shopping at this Talbots since it opened. I have seen a lot of nice sales ladies come and go. Tonight I had an exceptionally nice sales lady. She helped me swap an on line order item that came in the wrong size. She helped me find some super cute bargains and made my shopping experience very pleasant.

As a plus size elderly woman, I often find it difficult to not only stay in style, but find quality clothing that compliments my figure. Talbots offers me the ability to buy all the items necessary to mix and match and add colors and styles to my existing wardrobe. The staff goes above and beyond in their hospitality. I always look forward to the new seasons styles.

Went in this store because I had never visited it before and was hoping to find some cute bargains. That didn't happen! Everything I saw cost a small fortune. It also looked as if most of the clothes were for people 55+.

I have been shopping at the South Parkway Talbots ever since I moved to Huntsville25 years ago. If you look in my closet, you’ll see that almost everything I wear came from Talbots. I was very disappointed in my visit today. I had a return to make and I selected some items to buy. They had a special bag you could get with a purchase of $150 or more. When I went up to the counter, they asked me if I had an appointment because apparently if I had an appointment, I could get three times bonus points. I wasn’t aware of that and I said well I guess my appointment is for now, but it turns out that you have to make it for two hours later than when you either call or show up at their store. I live on the outskirts of town and didn’t have time to come back in two hours. I’m not really sure what the purpose of the appointment was for as I’ve been picking my own clothes out there forever, so I’m not sure why I needed an appointment to get extra points. The sales person said I could make the appointment for tomorrow or anytime up through the ninth. The problem is I am leaving town tomorrow and won’t be back until the 10th, so that won’t work. I asked if I could buy the clothes now and they could hold them there until I get back and would that allow me to get the points. No, that is not an option. The second issue was that I was purchasing over $150 worth of clothes, so I should have qualified for the green bag. The sales person first rang in my return and then my purchases. I said I think I qualify for the green bag and she said no because of the offset with the return. I don’t think the return should have anything to do with it. She could’ve done that two transactions if that was an issue. So I said well I have over $150 worth of clothes there so that should qualify. She said that with the 25% off, I was under the $150. I said I could go pick out something else to buy. However, she said all the green bags are gone, so even if you do that, I can’t give you a bag. The whole process was frustrating. I went in there, expecting to make a return and make a purchase. I saw the possibility of triple points and a cute little green bag. When all of that was off the table, I just decided to make my return and not make the purchase. I likely didn’t need those things anyway. It seems a little petty on my part to have just walked out, but again, I am a long time customer and that whole situation didn’t seem very customer friendly.
