Vanessa's Modern Bride

I purchased my wedding dress from Vanessa’s Modern Bride and received exceptional service. Not only were the gown selections stunning, but Lisa offered helpful and curated input on additional elements I could add to my dress. Absolutely loved the store and its associates!

We had a lovely experience at Vanessa's! My two daughter's are engaged at the same time and Lisa made it easy, fun and special for each of my girls. The boutique is beautiful and the dress selection was just the right size. I highly recommend making an appointment here!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Vanessa’s ! Lisa was accommodating, knowledgeable, and so kind. The shopping experience was beyond intimate, as the only bride in the store I felt special and heard. Lisa didn’t rush me and listened to everything I wanted. I found my dream dress and then met Dorina … who also knocked it out of the park !! She is an amazing seamstress !! We shared so many laughs together and she made my dress fit perfect. The best shopping experience I could have asked for.

Pro- I found a gorgeous dress and veil for a very affordable price. Con- Lisa recommended her "business partner" who would take care of my alterations. Lisa/Vanessa’s Boutique would hold on to my dress and transfer to the seamstress for me with whom I would coordinate my fittings and final pickup. Sounds ideal, but I should have asked for more details because it turns out the seamstress works out of her personal home. Had me undress, try my dress on, and measure/pin me all in her upstairs loft while her husband watched tv downstairs in their living room. Very uncomfortable. Then, after measurements and pinning the seamstress informed me that at my final appointment payment is due - $1,000 cash only. The alterations cost as much as my dress and veil combined. Insane. Incredibly shady and unprofessional for Lisa/the boutique to manipulate these arrangements. By the time I learned the cost, the seamstress has my dress back in her possession and already pinned. I felt backed into a corner and regretful I didn’t ask more questions. Especially since the boutique and seamstress had possession of my dress until the alterations were complete and paid for. Just be warned and be careful!

I absolutely LOVED working with Lisa and Lauren at Vanessa's Modern Bride. The shop is so cute and they had a lot of dress styles and options within my $3k budget. The ladies were super welcoming and helpful and, boom...I found my dress! I absolutely LOVED my dress and so did everyone else!

I had a wonderful experience dress shopping at Vanessa's! They had a huge range of styles within a very reasonable price range - which is hard to find at many shops. The stylist that worked with us was wonderful, attentive and was not at all pushy with making a sale. At no point during our visit did we feel rushed, as has been the case at other bridal shops. The stylist gave thoughtful feedback and was very patient. I am almost positive that I'll be back to commit to purchasing my dream dress! Highly recommend!!

I found my perfect dress at Vanessa's Modern Bride. I recommend this store for a few reasons. First, Lisa is outstanding - she is knowledgeable, personable, easy to communicate with and offers superior customer service. Second, they have a stunning selection of dresses - designers I still haven't seen anywhere else (I shopped in Colorado, Ohio and Illinois). Third, the store is cute and picturesque - the store FEELS special. Fourth and most important - I found THE ONE. I loved basically every dress I tried on. Lisa listened to the feedback as I tried on each dress then recommended I try the dress that ended up being THE ONE and I could not believe it - it was everything I wanted and everything I didn't know I wanted. I have never felt more beautiful than the way I felt on my wedding day. Definitely include Vanessa's in your top dress shops to have your special moment with the dress of your dreams 🙂
