Louis was our wrangler that led the tour and it was amazing 🙂 everyone was extremely friendly, the ranch was very clean and the animals were all so friendly and in good environment. Boone was my horse i got to ride and he was a fun personality to have for my trail ride! highly recommend

Phenomenal private advanced ride with Connor, who was absolutely amazing. The ride was catered to my ability and preferences, with lots of great canters combined with peaceful trails at walking pace. I’ve ridden at lots of different places and had lots of excellent riding experiences, and this is absolutely one of the best I’ve done. Next time I’m on the island, I’ll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed riding horses here. A very leisurely stroll on the horses and nice views at the peak. It’s not a fast ride, but rather a slow and leisurely one to enjoy Hawaii’s nature. The guides were great and I highly recommend this activity for you and your family.

I can’t say enough good things about Gunstock Ranch. My husband and I first did the Sweethearts private ride, then later returned for the 1.5-hour ride with visiting family and friends. Both experiences were incredible and made me fall in love with horseback riding and wanting to learn more about horsemanship. This is easily one of the best experiences we’ve had on the island and something we recommend to every visitor (bonus: we get to join every time 😊). The wranglers are exceptional - knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate. We’ve ridden with Beth, Josh, Sydney, and Kaylee, and every ride felt safe, personal, and fun. The horses - Mochi, Gimli, Rio, and Mowgli - are calm, well trained, and clearly well cared for. Peaceful, grounding, and genuinely healing. 10/10 recommend! ♥️

The riding was really great and the guide beth was so sweet She explained about the ranch, cows, and trees we can see during the ride. I booked private advanced riding but due to weather conditions, I couldn’t get a lot of chances to do canter. But I definitely want to come back when the trail is not muddy.

My partner and I went on the 2-hour private ride with Sunset Dinner. Our guide, Devin, was amazing. Super friendly, knowledgable, and local to the area. The dinner location had an amazing view overlooking the valley, the ocean and Laie Point. Horses were extremely well behaved and gave us no trouble. Thank you Mogli and Bud!
