Winding Branch Ranch

The place is really nice! It’s small, but there are a few animals to see and plenty of pumpkins — perfect for cute photos. There’s also a station where you can paint them. We had a great time! 🎃

Winding Branch Ranch is such a special place. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and clearly cared for, but what really makes it stand out is the heart behind it. The people there are incredibly compassionate, and it shows in how well the animals are treated—they’re healthy, loved, and respected. They’re always happy to share their knowledge and take the time to educate others about rescuing, caring for, and rehoming ranch and farm animals, which is truly inspiring. You can tell they genuinely want to make a difference. It’s also a great place to donate, knowing your support goes directly toward animal care and rescue efforts. Winding Branch Ranch is doing amazing work, and I can’t recommend them enough.

What a cool place! 😍 I went for the fall fest and fell in love with the animals and the mission. I’ll be there again this weekend volunteering!

It’s a great experience. Everyone is nice. The place is beautiful and definitely family friendly. Matt was very sweet.

We went out there today for their holiday event with hot drinks, wreath making and meeting the animals and it was great! Matt, one of the owners, made the effort to come say hi and share about the donkeys, pigs, emus, chickens, goats, and chickens at the rescue. It was really large field where the animals could roam and my son loved finding the emus, making sure they didn’t thump and then petting them. Chad is such a sweet emu! The piglets were super cute, and we almost wanted to take one home! Both owners were really friendly, treated the animals well and allowed us to meet all rescued. I’m not sure how they made them comfortable with people, but all except the chickens were pretty easy to get close to. Be aware of the poo, but that’s to be expected on a large farm right? Definitely will be back to see these friendly animals! Happy to support such a good cause at Windjng branch.

Came to drop off something, stayed to feed the animals. All the people working there I talked too, were super nice, informative and helpful.
