Horse Haven Equestrian & Boarding on S. Houghton Rd is truly something special. Lisandro and Norma, the owners, provided my husband and me with hands-on care and personalized horse riding training that made us feel both confident and welcomed from day one. Their ranch is already well known for its experienced trainers, but what really stands out is the strong sense of community and the genuine care they show for both riders and horses. You’re not just another client here — you’re treated like family. We are so grateful for the time, patience, and encouragement Lisandro and Norma gave us. I've known Lisandro for about 30 years and you couldn't find a better person to take care of your stable facilities and create a welcoming atmosphere. Walking onto Horse Haven you feel the happiness and camaraderie that the stable represents. I have my own stable, but if I didn't my horses would go to Horse Haven!

Lisandro and Norma found their calling. My horses and I feel like part of the family. This barn has the most inviting atmosphere. No Drama, just good folks who appreciate horses. The arenas are always dragged and rock free. My horses get fed as much hay as they need, both Alf and Bermuda. Stalls are cleaned 2 times each day and you can choose between auto waterers and large drums. I have a fantastic tack room and trailer parking. Trail access is right off the property, to endless trails and sandy washes. Lots of people to ride with, wonderful trainers. We do need one more trainer in my opinion though, one for show jumpers.

The new owners, Norma and Lisandro have created a beautiful community. Lisandro and Norma look after their boarders and horses. They have welcomed me with open arms. Lisandro has been training my horse and she’s made incredible progress in only a few weeks, building both her courage and mine. I’ve never felt safer or in better hands. Lisandro is so kind and patient while training and encourages me to learn beside him. I’m so thankful for my Horse Haven family who prioritizes enjoying your passion and safety. My horse is always well fed, watered, and her stall is always clean!

I’m moving in on the first. I immediately adored the owners. After getting to know one another they chose the barn they thought would be perfect for us. And it will be absolutely amazing. Lisandro and Norma did a great job in making our daughter feel comfortable boarding her horse at their facility while she attended the University of Arizona. We live in Idaho so it was kind of scary picking a place to board off the internet, sight unseen but Norma was so helpful on the phone getting us set up and when we got there after 10:00 at night, Lisandro was right there to help get us settled despite the late hour. Over our daughter's school year boarding there she enjoyed the trails and facilities and felt at ease keeping her horse there. Great hospitality.
