Folly Farm Stables

We attend several shows per year at Folly Farm, The shows are well run and they are so accommodating to trainers and exhibitors. The grounds are beautiful and the trainers and staff there are awesome to work with. We especially love the hunt course !!! Folly also has some amazingly talented ,lovely horses and riders that are super competitive on the local and A circuit The horses always look great and receive impeccable care I have been showing here since I was a teenager It always feels like home I also drive all the way from Massachusetts Worth the trip ✔️

I have been at folly for 8 years and have loved every second of it. I came to folly being a beginner who had never sat on a horse before. In these amazing 8 years I have learned more than I could ever imagine. I am now doing the 3’3 Junior Hunters with a horse that my trainer Amy at folly helped me find. I have been so grateful for the people and experiences I have had at folly. I could never imagine being at any other barn than folly. I have never heard of a better place!!!

I used to ride at Walkers and always enjoyed competing at Folly Farm, nearly every weekend throughout the school year! It was so much fun, a very friendly environment and very welcoming staff to riders who were learning to compete. I was actually going through some of my old horse show ribbons and I’m so pleased to have won a few at Folly Farm. It was such a great experience!

My daughter has been riding at Folly Farm for 2 years and it has been an amazing experience. She has received excellent training and has grown as a rider. Additionally, she has made lifelong friendships and has had the opportunity to attend shows and compete across New England. The facilities are incredible and our pony receives top notch care. I recommend Folly Farm for riders of all levels.

My daughter has been riding at Folly Farm for a few years now and we could not be happier with our experiences there. Staff and trainers are top notch; knowledgeable, friendly, kind, supportive and understanding. The facilities are second to none. Summer camp has always been a favorite time of year for her as well. Shows are run smoothly and efficiently. The level of inclusivity is beyond measure. Highly recommend Folly Farm for all levels of riding, whether you're a beginner or a more experienced rider.

i’ve been at this barn for 4 years and they have been the best years of my life. I have 2 horses boarded at folly that the trainers there have helped me find. I have learned so so much at folly and i recommend this barn to anyone who wants a positive riding experience!

I have known Amy since she was 14, when she was riding and helping out with lessons at the Farmington Polo Club. She has been my trainer for 10+ years. Amy is an intelligent young woman, with a degree in Equine Science and a Masters in business; her education and experience can be seen in how she runs Folly. She is completely honest in all her dealings with clients. Her horsemanship is superb, and the lesson horses are some of the best you could find. If you have an issue and you speak with her directly, it will be dealt with. I have known Britt (the assistant trainer and head of the riding school) for about 8 years, and she is also a fantastic trainer and accomplished horse person. I'm 74, and part of a group of "older" riders - the camaraderie in the barn is such that we all get along with everyone; the younger riders are friendly and fun to be around. I can't think of a better place to ride and be around others who love horses.
