I had my daughter's 4th birthday here on Sunday. It was cowgirl/unicorn theme and the venue was perfect. When I arrived, the place was decorated already, I brought banners and a birthday tarp but I didn't have to use it bc everything was set up-table covers, balloons and my daughters name already on the wall. Not exactly the color themes I was going for but honestly it's a load off your chest. The pony was dressed as a unicorn and the kids all got a turn riding. I thought the hay ride wouldn't be worth it but I was surprised to hear how much the kids loved that experience. I can see how the owner and staff really takes care of the animals. The pony the kids ride was 30 years old. There was a tortoise just casually roaming the grounds while the party was going and it was so amusing to watch. Who knows how old that one was. There are staff the whole time, manning the gate and ensuring all is well with the animals and kids at the petting zoo. The area is decently shaded with trees around the eating area. There's a handwashing station with soap and papertowels. There was a rope ready to go to hang our piñata. The guests all had a good time and most especially the little ones. I don't understand the bad reviews, booking to party turnout was all around a great experience.
My daughters school made a field trip to this wonderful equestrian center. The kids enjoyed petting the animals, riding Cooper and going on a hay ride. The employees were very fast to clean up every time an animal pooped. The kids enjoyed the outdoor picnic area. It featured a little hut with giant bunnies, a slide, 2 barrels with ornate saddles, a jail, picnic tables and a hay bale area.
Magical place for a kids birthday party!! From the petting zoo to the horse rides to the hay ride. The animals are all so well taken care of and the employees were all so kind and helpful. Will celebrate here again.
Love this barn! Gill takes really good care of the maintenance of the stables. They have awesome trainers.. I never want to move my horse again!
Went to this place to try somewhere new for my little ones, should have notice why there were no people. It's very nice but there was such a rude person, that we turned around and went back to our vehicle. Its not welcoming to new people at all, there was a lady whom freaked out over an umbrella. Two other employees saw us, never mentioned anything or stopped us. Then she got upset over not walking on the concrete, as we were pushing our sons wheelchair so he can see the horses. Definitely not a friendly place to visit, there are ways to speak to people and yelling across the way to get your points made out is not one of them.
Well maintained facility. Horses receive quality/consistent care. Party guests and campers have a great time.
There was a female employee (caucasian, visually in her late 40's or 50's, brunette) who was needlessly obnoxious and verbally attacking & heckling newcomers for no reason at all. EXTREMELY HOSTILE AND AGGRESSIVE. Nobody deserves to be treated like a criminal. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
