My husband I and 3 grandkids had a great time. The folks leading us knew so much about each individual horse and shared their history with us. We loved that we could enjoy rescue horses so much.

I have ridden here multiple times and we always have the best experience! Ride is the perfect length and you always go into it feeling equipped and well informed. These people do such amazing work and love these horse so well. Highly recommend!

Great place to board your horse. They are turned out and fed daily and looked after by caring staff. There is a paddock for each stalled horse so the animal can spend time outdoors even when not turned out. There are numerous beautiful trails to explore. Other boarders are friendly and helpful. If you don’t have a regular farrier or vet they can arrange for one of the regulars that come to the stable. Board is due monthly. When you board at Oak Mountain, unlimited park admission is included. There are two sand-floored outdoor arenas as well if you don’t want to trail ride. Room for tack is available.

This is a nice little outing for the family. The animals are well groomed and well-behaved. They might be a little curious when you have a bag of food, however. The staff is polite and will help with any questions.

Great experience riding today! The guides are very knowledgeable about the terrain. If you have previously had a bad experience they will help you to change that to a great one! We paid $55 each for an hour and I think it was worth it! I have only been on a horse one time before this and felt comfortable! You do go on a trail in the mountains and some of them are tight. I would recommend wearing pants and having skin covered from the waist down. I just wore tall socks with tennis shoes and it worked great! They used our phone to snap some photos of us at the end! Also make sure you have money to get into the park because you do still have to pay park admission!
