Newport Beach Athletic Club

This is a great, non pretentious family-owned gym. Excellent up-to-date and state-of-the-art amenities with traditional weights and machines THAT WORK and are well maintained. The facility is clean and well cared for. The staff and members are the best assets to this business, they are cordial and welcoming. The members are respectful to the facility. The gym is separate for men & women with coed areas. Ladies can workout in a comfortable environment. I highly recommend this business.

15 + years here and still think it's the best gym in OC. Great people, clean and world class equipment. Ice bath as well

Since 1971 the Newport Beach Athletic Club has kept celebrities' educators, and elite members of Newport society healthy in a clean, modern facility (offering month to month) contracts for men/women. Customer service by Tom and Dorothy the legacy of the dynamic team of Tom and John aka "Mr. B" merited write ups in the OC Register. Wonderful, clean and modern aesthetics here. After dining with Tom and Dorothy I came to know why people---despite many gyms/clubs in Newport---frequented NBAC, its simple, honest and *individualized care by Tom, Dorothy and John. *SC Recommendation

Great gym. Friendly staff and members, small business/boutique gym feel. Clean. All the equipment you need no matter how you like to work out. I personal enjoy Olympic lifting and circuit training and they have bumper plates, kettle bells, etc. Never too crowded either, which is a huge plus in this populous area.

Great place to work out. They have a plunge tank, steam sauna, dry sauna and large Jacuzzi. It's a really nice crowd a lot of older people that there's new blood coming in everyday.

Great gym to to enjoy and the locker room facilities are amazing compared to most. Thank you to Tom and the team for providing a great gym atmosphere and helping work through any member difficulties.

Tom, the club, and all the staff are incredible. Very accommodating, very friendly, very helpful. I highly recommend this club for great weight workouts, racketball, basketball, and much more. Nice locker rooms and bathrooms, Jacuzzis, hot and cold, they got it all. You the man TOM. Thank you!!
