River Pines Horse Sanctuary

Shari & her husband couldn’t be any more helpful or wonderful to be around. I was late to my appointment. I purchased for my 93 year-old mother to visit with the horses. I did not write down the correct address. Not only did they allow us to come in, they spent more time with us than allotted, explaining where the horses came from what they have experienced to heal. We got to say hello and groom different horses, ponies and donkeys. Shari is also very knowledgeable and is used to working with seniors. What a fun, and memorable experience. My siblings and I, as well as my mother, are still talking about this experience. It was the highlight of our trip to visit Mom.

What an absolute honor it was to meet Shari and the Sanctuary today. A truly magical place that restores your faith a little. Shari is so kind, smart, sincere and is doing the most incredible things for any living thing that is lucky enough to meet her. I highly recommend making a trip to the sanctuary to anyone who is curious! And if you are ever in a position to donate ANYTHING to them, please do! This wonderful haven is a blessing!

Truly a magical place! The property is incredible, the owner is wonderful and loves sharing her knowledge and passion, and of course, the horses! They are chuck full of personality and pure joy to spend time with.

Grandkids absolutely loved the place and the staff was out of this world!!

Beautiful and incredible home for horses. And Heaven for me.

New beginnings for a horse and a human. What greater pleasure than connecting with any animal. The uniqueness of this wonderful sanctuary is that the horses are so happy they do not want to leave. I am excited and inspired to work more with these beautiful animals and the clinics that will be offered to anyone who wants to learn. Proud to be a volunteer and hopefully someday contribute more and share with anyone who wants to add more light and love to their lives.

Absolutely the best horse sanctuary I've been to. Owner is very knowledgeable and offers great insight to her program.
