Max is a great guy, boarded my horses with him as a girl in my high school and college rodeo days, and as recently as last year. I don't know why there's people saying otherwise, he's managing a whole huge barn, nothings perfect. But I appreciated Max. Most of the people I came across were nice. Would board there again.
I’ve boarded at Max’s place since May and have been very happy with my experience. The boarding agreement is very clear on expectations and barn etiquette so there are no surprises day to day. Horses are well taken care of and my horse was very happy there.
I consider myself very blessed to have found Max's place. He is extremely kind and professional and has a big heart. I can't imagine boarding my sweet girl anywhere else.
This place is Terrible. The owner, Max, is extremely rude. If you ask him to do anything, like fix a horse’s water (which they need to survive), it’s like pulling teeth. It’s soooo dirty and dusty. It’s colic waiting to happen. Also, the arena and 2 round pens are always full, even if just used for turn out. It’s a mess. Spend a little more and find a proper barn!!
My 4-year old granddaughter is taking riding lessons here, and absolutely LOVES it. The horses are gentle and Daniel, her instructor, is wonderful with her. I highly recommend these stables.
Horrible. Meanest barn I’ve ever been to. If you like being degraded then go there
I only boarded my horse there for a little over a month and my experience was not the greatest. At first all went fine but then one day I got a call from the owner of the stables saying that my horse bit the horse next to hers tail and that the owner was upset but I had no proof as to if she did that or not. He told me that he needs to move her to a different stall so she wouldn’t hurt any others horses but I asked him why not move the other horse because my horse was there weeks before the other one was and I wanted that stall for her even though if the other horse was moved there would be no one around her but he stated that the other stall she’ll be moved to has a fence between each stall that she can’t to any other horse again. The stall he decided to put her in was one that a previous horse got injured in by getting foot stuck in but I agreed for the time being because I wasn’t going to stay any longer just to finish off the month of July. Not happy about it but I agreed and went to her one day to check up on her and saw there was a rope and harness hung up on her stall door so I was afraid that someone had taken her out without my permission so I contacted the owner of the stalls and he said they pulled her out of her stall for a few minutes because she bit the horse next to her again even though there was a whole fence between them but a small hole where they get their water from and that’s apparently where she bit the other horse from. What was weird to me is that when the first incident happened he told me that if this was to happen again then he’ll contact me immediately and let me know because they don’t want that kind of behavior around the horses but he never told me about the second incident until I contacted him about the rope which meant if I didn’t he wouldn’t have let me know about anything. I tried asking why he didn’t let me know but didn’t give me a legitimate answer making me think that the whole thing was a lie. I was never late with my payments and was always respectful of others around so I’m not sure what the reasoning for all this was but in the end I moved my horse to another stable because I don’t want things to get worse pinning all blame on her when I get no proof of anything.
