Ashford Farm

My grandaughter has been taking lessons and attending camp here. She loves it and is learning the spirit of teamanship. The staff is wonderful. Patient and kind. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place my daughter has been taken lesson here since she was 5 and attends the camp in the summer Caroline is the absolutely the best!

Staff is kind, the owner is such a nice and polite lady. The place is amazing. I have such beautiful pictures from here. Is a very well maintained place. My child is taking lessons for about 7 years now and her current instructor, Mrs. Sandra is the best.

Been riding here for a year and a half. As an adult rider it was hard to find a lesson barn that had the space, and ashford has exceeded my expectations! The Instructors are knowledgeable, the owners are amazing and love their horses like family, and they do a good job of matching riders skills within a lesson group so we can grow and also have fun within the lesson. Love it here. Awesome barn!

Ashford Farm has been my happy place for over 30 years. From my mid-20s to my early 60s, I've enjoyed every lesson hour at this family-run barn, first with Caroline and now with her daughter Megan Canavan. Caroline's husband, Bill, and daughter, Jane, help with barn operations, feeding and caring for the horses and menagerie of dogs on-site while expertly matching horses with riders of all ages and levels. The barn is beautiful but not fussy. The horses are friendly, well-mannered, and well-loved, and the lessons are safe and fun. My lesson groups have changed as I've aged, but I'm constantly challenged and enthralled with my weekly riding lesson at Ashford Farm.

Our daughter has been coming to Ashford for 8 years. We now board two horses with them and think of Ashford staff like family. Caroline’s process starts with private lessons with your child in the safe small upper ring. Once the training staff has confidence your kid is ready ( usually 10 private lessons) your move into group lessons. This sets the tone of progression for the program. We have done camp for the last 6 summers and our trainer Megan takes our daughter off property to school, show and event. We love Ashford.

I scheduled a lesson 1 month in advance for my birthday, took off work to come to the lesson. Did not receive any communication from the staff. It was drizzling/light rain and my lesson was at 1 pm. I called several times and got voicemail only. When I finally got through while I was on the way, the staff said "it’s not a good time can you do this time again next week. Should have called you". Very disappointed with customer service. The staff was not friendly over the phone and made no attempt at communication. Was very excited and extremely upset by the lack of communication.
