Hidden Acres Rescue For Thoroughbreds (HART)

Buen lugar para aprender a cabalgar

HART is an incredible place that rescues and rehabilitates horses. It rescues people too. I find it incredibly cathartic to work with the horses, they're incredible animals and are a joy to be around. There's a purity that comes with the routine of animal care, something I've not found in a long, long time. Get involved. It's amazing. Say hi to Starbuck!

Sweet people sweet horses and an excellent place to devote time!

I volunteer and the people I work with are fun and helpful. I am able to interact with all the horses during my volunteer time. Which is the calm fun I was hoping to get! Owner and trainer are grateful to volunteers and are accommodating. Barn Manager, Keri is the best and is patient and helpful to this horse newbie. Obviously I enjoy my time there. Bu JoEl Harris

My granddaughter volunteers here. Everything seems so clean and professional. Really enjoy watching the riding lessons. This place takes such good care of all of the horses they have here.

Amazing people who truly care for the horses they take in. Mostly volunteers, which is how I found out about them. If you want to volunteer they are patient and work with you to explain and teach you the right way to do the job they need done. Highly recommended for volunteering and for adoption!

I volunteer every Saturday with my dad and love every bit of it. The staff is amazing and very helpful! If you're looking to contribute some of your time and love horses, I recommend checking this place out!
