Lake Louisa State Park Guided Trail Rides

I had such an amazing experience with the horseback riding tours at Lake Louisa! Our guides, Maddie and Rylee, were absolutely wonderful—perfectly balancing fun with making sure everyone stayed safe and followed directions. The tour itself was a blast! Between the beautiful ride and all the interesting information they shared about the area, it was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The horses were great too—my horse, Reddington, was such a sweet and gentle boy. There were plenty of other horses who were just as amazing, sweet, and so well-trained—you can truly tell the people working here love what they do and are amazing at it. This was my first time horseback riding, and it couldn’t have gone better. I’ll definitely be back for more great moments like this! 🐴✨

We had an amazing time! The 1-hour horseback ride was relaxing, fun, and a great experience for the whole family. I’ve never ridden a horse before, and it was such an easy and enjoyable first ride. The horses were calm and well cared for, the scenery was beautiful, and the staff made everything simple and stress-free. Highly recommend for first time riders wanting to ride a horse easily.

My husband and daughter had a wonderful time on their ride. It was a beautiful day out, and their horses were very well behaved. The horse ranglers were both kind and did a nice job explaining the do's and don't's of horseback riding. The horses are beautiful and well taken care of. There is a $5 fee to get into the park itself and once in the park it takes another 10 minutes to get to their location. So you will want to factor both of those things in.

We had an amazing experience at Lake Louisa Park's Guided Horseback Riding! My horse, Remington (Remi), was such a fun ride – a little feisty, which was exactly what I was looking for. He kept things exciting from start to finish! Our guides, Tina and Jill, were fantastic! Tracy who was the supervisor was great to connect with you (very nice). They went above and beyond to make the journey engaging and memorable, sharing interesting tidbits and making sure everyone was having a great time. Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure, and we can’t wait to come back for another ride, God willing!

We had a great time at Lake Louisa State Park Guided Trail Rides. Jill and Tina were amazing guides. Tracy was very kind and super helpful as well. They were patient with my daughter and ensured everyone felt comfortable. The ride was enjoyable and the trail was nice. We felt like we got our money's worth. Our horses were Whiskey, Cornbread, Marra, Max, Remi, and Gigi. We highly recommend this place for horseback riding and will definitely be back when we come to visit the area.

I wouldn't waste my time with this operation. An absolute joke. My daughter and wife were booked to ride February 2nd. They turned my wife away because they thought her BMI was over there threshold. She's a mother of 5 just had the 5th baby 2 months ago. They don't post there BMI limits until after you have paid and than they won't refund you. Most dishonest place I've had the pleasure of being involved with in a long time. My suggestion for anyone who wants to ride a horse, don't go here. Come to Alberta, Canada and ride with some real Cowboys in the foothills.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on the 1-hour trail ride. Her horse cornbread and my horse Gigi were well trained, calm and we felt very safe and in control for first-timers without a lot of experience on horses. The park is beautiful and it's fun to get back on the trails. There's two guides one in the front and one in the back and they were very clear with all instructions to keep us feeling safe.
