Staff pleasant and bed was comfortable. Carpet was dirty, burn hole in bedspread, curtain frayed and hanging down, and furniture was terribly scarred. The room smelled horrible, I should have asked to be moved. Overall 3.7 rating was far too generous

The Inn was a good place to stay for the price.The few things we did not like... One complaint my husband and I have is the strong presence odor of marijuana. It was very strong in the lobby as well as the hallway. I do not know how the employees would not have smelled it unless you become accustomed to the odor using yourself. The other issue we had was the stay was supposed to have included breakfast. We were not told until after check in that the breakfast was not available. Would have been nice to know beforehand as my husband is on chemo and needs breakfast to eat before treatment. It definitely was a factor when we chose a place to stay.

Delivers exactly what you expect from a $70 hotel. The entire first floor smelled like pot smoke. That smell continued to permeate the first floor during our entire stay. When we first entered, the room's bathroom reeked of cigar smoke. We were able to clear that cigar smell using the two exhaust fans and propping the bathroom door open. However, the indoor air quality still caused immediate sinus congestion for me. There is an old sign on the hotel's exit door explaining that it used to be a Super 8. After dark, there were shady characters sitting on the far side of the parking lot silently staring at everyone as if casing cars and guests as they arrive. The room was basic with lots of wear and tear. The entirety of breakfast is cereal, toast, and a banana, with a toaster whose extension cord runs across the room. For the cost, nothing was below the 3 star rating this place already has. The sheets and towels were white, there was a lock on the room door, the air conditioning worked, and there was a microwave, and refrigerator. The front desk staff was awesome! He didn't give out any personal info at all during the check in process! 🌟 You might not get anything above what you'd expect, but you WILL get the basics that you need from this very low cost lodging choice!

For the price it's an okay stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We asked for a king size bed and what they call a king is different than we call king size,vit was a full size bed. There was a strong odor of marijuana in the entry as well as the lobby and hallway. When I rated the hotel on the website, management came back with the statement that marijuana is legal in Illinois. They promote their hotel is smoke free so take that for what it is.

First of all let’s say this! Rodeway Inn is one of the easiest bookings you will ever have, from the great rates, to the availability all the way to the Management and off site team.
