My wife and I have a son in college in Terre Haute, so we've been coming to town a few times a year for the last 3 years. We absolutely love the downtown, and we have 2 favorite places to stay- the Candlewood and the other big hotel across the street. Each has it's own charm, but I personally prefer the Candlewood. The rooms are expansive and come with a kitchenette.||The location here is key- this is right on the corner of 7th and Wabash. Downtown TH has some super fun bars and restaurants and they're all a hop from this place. The hotel is quiet, clean, and like I already mentioned, the rooms are huge. Every time I am here I sleep like a baby- the beds are so comfortable and the hotel is quiet.||I love their workout room here too- it's got everything I need to have an excellent workout while I'm on the road. It's super clean and has a nice range of equipment.||Overall this is an excellent hotel. Even after our son graduates next year, I can see my wife and I coming to Terre Haute to enjoy a few of the restaurants in town, and we will definitely stay at the Candlewood Suites again.

I have never done a 5 star review on a hotel. These folks deserve it. First and foremost Shower head and shower awesome. Room Spotless. Bedding not too hot not to cold. My favorite thing crisp white bedding that was not saturated with bleach smell. Pillows perfect. Mattress was one of best. We also asked for late checkout and they gave us 1 pm. Front desk folks top notch

This is a great hotel; very large and comfortable room with a complete kitchen! A large refrigerator that works; dishes, pots and utensils; comfortable bed and chairs, good lighting and accessible electrical outlets; excellent desk/table arrangement. The staff are very responsive to needs, very friendly. The only downside is the noise at night - traffic and trains, but it's not constant and it is all external; the hotel itself is very quiet. The hotel is located in the middle of a city so noise should be expected. I've stayed in other hotels in Terre Haute and this one is the best. I will stay here again and highly recommend it.

My company set me up here at the hotel for 56 days, end of August thru October 20th. It exceeds my expectations. The cupboard has an awesome selection of food, snacks, personal items and the Costa coffee is free, And Ive been consuming plenty of it! Very comfy pillows and bed. Which is huge with my lower back issues. On-site laundry is great. Especially being 3.5 hours away from home. ||Hotel is clean and everyone is so friendly and always busy working. The housekeeping crew does a fantastic job to keep this place spotless and dust free. Doug and his front desk crew are Rockstars! Brittany, Steven, Ally and Heidi are a few at who I've had conversations with. Always so willing to help, ask if I need anything and just straight up courteous and smiling. I wish I had everyone's name I've had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with. If you are doing a long business stay or just a short get away, this is the place to stay in Terre Haute!!!||Keep up the great work everyone!

The room was very clean. Our room was in a quiet location. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. We was in town for a bowling tournament. If we ever need to stay in Terre Haute in the future, we would definitely come back.
