West Side YMCA Lodging

A mi me pareció un lugar perfecto. Fui a baño semi privado y siempre habia alguno libre, tenian agua caliente y estaban limpios. La habitación limpia tambien y tenia caja fuerte y nevera. La ubicación es ideal. Yo no soy muy pretenciosa, siempre que viajo voy a hostels, y la verdad que este dado el precio (el más barato de todo ny) es excelente. Volvería sin dudas..

Buenas ubicación. Servicio mínimo y habitaciones simples y cada día siempre falla algo... Agua caliente , radiador , aire ..... Dormir y poco más.

Para lo que es, dormir solamente.

L hôtel est tres bien situé, à coté de central park.Cependant c est le seul point positif. La chambre que j avais était sale, le lit grinçait et n etait pas confortable du tout. Le store de ma chambre etait cassé, j ai donc été réveillée très tot. De plus, il n y avait pas d eau chaude dans la douche collective, la salle de bain n etait pas propre non plus et une douche était cassée et coulait en continu inondant la salle de bain. Bref, même pour une nuit, je ne recommande pas.

So this hotel is honestly a 50/50. I’m not usually that hard on inn and cheap hotel because honestly you get what you pay for. Don’t expect a 5 stars if the room is 30$ the night but I had a kinda bad experience there. The staff were really nice and friendly. And the experience was enjoyable thanks to them. The hotel is one of the cheapest in manhattan and is well located so that’s a good deal for people on a budget. But I wouldn’t recommend staying more than 3/4 nights. The rooms are okay if not kinda dirty and the bed is confortable. The bathroom though is hell. There’s no hot water in the shower, the bathroom is a pool because there’s so much water everywhere for some reason and also the door doesn’t close. Since it is a shared bathroom with men on the same floor I didn’t really feel safe showering. Also there’s nowhere to put your stuff so you have to go out in the corridor in the towel or put your clothes on the floor (where, I would like to remind you again, was closer to a pool than a floor) Also they asked us to pay 10$ per night at arrivals which was not included in the price and kinda took us by surprise ?!

Window in our room couldn’t be open, air conditioning very loud, heating can’t be regulated => every morning too hot, toilets and showers should be renovated! Only location of accommodation is great. Pictures on website aren‘t the reality..
